I'm here today to talk about something I think many of us can agree on. I know that I am fairly new here and I still don't understand many, MANY things that go on around here but for the life of me I cannot understand why poses cost a gold beetle. I know the artist's of this site work their natural born butts off updating decor and markings for most of their lives so we can enjoy these poses, with whatever decor we want, and we take that for granted soooo for granted because none of us realize how much work went into these kinds of things. But lions die here....unless you pony up a hunk of dough and freeze one, making him or her infertile and virtually useless except as an art piece....they die and there's not shit else we can do to stop it and unless your lion was a king and you are passing on his looks to your next heir you have virtually wasted a gold beetle. It's too much ya'll. We want to enjoy the awesome poses but the price is just too steep, or maybe put multiple uses on them? Maybe 3 uses instead of just one and keep the GB price I don't know, discuss? Maybe I am out of line here since the poses can be found on NCL's and bought in monkeyland and I need to simmer down? I truly appreciate their art and I want to use the poses much more and have more reason to invest in decor since decor is a big part of this game for some folks. I truly believe if we make the poses more accessible more players would want to spice up their lions! -Cheers! |

1. You really should update the title to something actually descriptive of your suggestion. Forum titles are meant to tell the other players what the content is about, not be a dramatic shout 2. I don't support this. It's pretty evident that poses are plenty easy to get based on just how many people have posed lionesses, all over the place. 1 GB is entirely reasonable. Selling one yohimbe bark can net you 20 of them. Selling one buffalo scrotum or GMO cow? You're looking at the ability to buy 30+ poses if you want. You can get one pose every 18 days just by doing the gorilla enclave requests. 3. Poses are a luxury item. They don't fluctuate in value, they don't add any inherent value to a lioness (if someone's gonna buy a cheap lion, they don't want to pay 1GB to make up the value of the pose used. If someone's gonna buy an expensive lion, what's 1 more GB if you're already spending 10 on the lion you want?), they don't give any sort of mechanical or economic advantage. There's no reason to make it cheaper.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Fair enough perhaps you are right about the title, and yes for many players I suppose 1gb is cheap enough, this is only my opinion. I suppose the fact that they don't add any actual value to the lion is exactly my point though....it's a bit pricey for something that...doesn't really do anything stat wise. 0 players like this post! No support, sorry. Poses are pretty easily obtainable. 1gb really isn’t that difficult to get, just sell some food/toys to the monkey, and with the sb you make, you can buy 1gb from the gb Sales in the oasis. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sorry, no support. 1GB is really cheap imo, I remember being surprised when they were added that they weren’t more costly. After all a pose lasts the whole adult lifetime of the lion - potentially 4-5 months irl - and stays on the lion if you then retire them to your dynasty, all of which seems like good value to me. Most of the things like this that are 'luxury' items just to affect appearance but that aren’t essential to gameplay cost this much or more. Given the amount of posed lions I see everywhere and how popular they already are, I don’t think there needs to be a lowered price to incentivise people to buy poses 0 players like this post!
