Despite being requested many times, one of the most frequent complaints I've picked up on about the freely adding/removing decor and backgrounds is the canon of how this would be even possible, as the lion/ess is already deceased.

I've also noticed multiple requests to remove Glimpse of the Alternate as we can just do that in the Wardrobe, and I wholeheartedly agree!

So I would like to present the idea of solving both of these issues in one change.
At the Scrying Stone, the Glimpse of the Alternate is gone, but in its place, there is a new option to offer, a, well, offering, to honor your ancestors! Sacrifice a decor/background item at the Scrying Stone along with a small/moderate SB fee in order to place the aforementioned sacrifice into the equipped decor listing of a lion/lioness of your choosing in your Dynasty.
The canonical routine of it will go as your King burying the item at the grave/in name of the grave of the chosen deceased in hopes that they will find the item in the afterlife and enjoy its presence, either comforting them in the great beyond, as a reminder of those still alive that remember them, or perhaps as an offering to keep a potentially vengeful spirit at bay so that your Pride can continue to prosper despite their absence.
Items will be able to be rearranged/removed/etc. at the lion/ess's profile as per usual post-addition. Removing said item will place it back in your inventory with no fee as already in place for both living and deceased pride members.

I'll probably return to this post and clarify any text that needs, well, clarifying! As you can see I'm not the most eloquent at communicating at the moment as I just woke up, haha.

(PS: please let our Kings keep their decor after they pass away/retire like our Pride members already do)

By the by if anyone's got any suggestions don't be afraid to shout 'em out. <33
And for those who dislike the idea of adding/removing decor from deceased pride members, would you mind stating why other than "I don't see the use in it"?
That's one of the most frequent opposing statements I've seen when similar suggestions are proposed, but that.. isn't a very valid reason to oppose it, in my opinion. Like, clearly others see the purpose/use in this feature, could you elaborate on why you don't other than for it to not exist entirely?

To be honest I physically can't read all of that because it is just a big block of text [nothing against how you have it, everything against my attention span] but I did read most of it. So if i read that some right you want to be able to decorate your dead lions/lionesses? If so then no support because it would be kind of redundant. Because it would take a use out of the decor, and who would see it? i'm pretty sure almost no one goes around and randomly checks dead lionesses unless it's 3am and they are bored. Putting decor of frozen lions is different because frozen lions are there forever and they can be traded/sold. Dead lionesses are there forever, until you delete them.they cant be traded or sold and no one will ever really see them. I personally remove all the decor off a lioness the day they tun 15Y, because that decor can go to a new lioness.

This is now possible, because of the Decor Equipper update this week! <3

I completely disagree that decorating dead lions is a waste of time though - I view my Dynasty a lot, as well as other players' sometimes, and I save a lot of my favourites. So I really appreciate that with this update the suggestion here is finally possible. From all the comments I’ve seen about the News post I’m definitely not the only one either ;)

It would be neat if it could eventually be expanded to include King Dynasty as well as Pride Dynasty too though!

@76 Oh my gosh, you're absolutely right!! You really can! That's fantastic! <33 Hopefully the Kings follow suit! Thank you for telling me, this is great. :DD

And I also look at my own Dynasty, almost every day, just to admire the different guys and gals that worked with me every year. I'm working on treating them as ocs, after all. <33 They each need art and stories! I love to look at other people's Dynasties too, so thank you for this really nice reply. <333
