Hello, I've been on here a while now. But that's beside the point! I have a new suggestion -

You can set a brood mother to protect a mutie! Let me explain. These muties would simply be deaf, and maybe blind - seeing that gives it a disadvantage at life. Why you ask? Well simple. The Deaf mutation provides the girl will die between adolescence and 3 years old and instead of this, you could simply set a broodmother to watch them and give them a longer life time. It doesn't even have to be a "broodmother" it could simply be a "partner" or a more creative name. This would be a set roll. Maybe to make it more complicated, they must have a certain personality (nurturing maybe?) and can only protect 2 muties at a time.
In addition if it is just a "broodmother" roll, this should take up to 2-3 slots seeing as they are caring for a more disabled cub (Thx Enternal ;D).
Not only to mention, OTHER muts like Eyeless and Blind can survive past 3? I mean, come on!

Simply put, You can assign one of your NURTURING (ONLY NURTURING) broodmothers to protect a DEAF lion (Any age) and the deaf lion will live to a normal lions life expectancy. However, the deaf lion will take up 3 SLOTS leaving only room for 3 other cubs to be taken care of.

A More Indepth Explantion

Support, Comment, and I will maybe add your ideas!

"i completely agree! we can save orphaned baby donkeys. send lionesses out to hunt elephants, hippos, and humans and they always return safely with nothing worse than removable cosmetic scars. we can cure rabies. there are event storylines where kings return from the dead. but a lion who canโ€™t hear good?? not getting killed in an accident at exactly the age of 3?? impossible! [P.s. I see you hitting noooo please explain ^-^ V]

While the Deaf mutation makes sense, why the Toothless, Blind, etc? In-game there wouldn't really be a point to it.

I still support though

Alternatively, the deaf cub, if placed with a broodmother, would take up two or three of the broodmother's cub slots to make up for the fact that she is caring for a severely (in the wild, anyway) disabled cub and just wouldn't be able to care for that many other cubs as she will have her paws full with the deaf one.

There could also be a certain low percentage chance that the broodmother gets distracted (unless of the nurturing personality), even for just a moment, and the cub dies anyway.

I'm new to muties and don't know all of the rules, but there has to be a downside to your suggestion since you said, I'm sure. Haha.

Ofcourse! I love the points you made too! The fact you can protect everything else but you can't in all you power prevent a deaf lion from dying? LOL.

I mean what are they even dying FROM? They wonder off and don't hear a snake or some shit? And considering a blind lion can literally WALK of a cliff or some shit..
e.e This needs to be implemented and if it is a deaf lion is mah goal ;>
