Hello everyone! Before I get to anything I'd like to apologise in advance if a similar suggestion has been made~ or if this suggestion somehow doesn't make sense, because that's me

Alright, about this suggestion. It's pretty straight forward, giving other people permission to edit your thread. Maybe there could be an extra field under the 'Subject' Field, and it'll require you to enter the IDs of people whom you wish to grant permission to edit the thread.

This is pretty convenient in a way that you can, give permission to, say, your alt account so you can edit your threads regardless of which account you're on. 'You know, all you have to do is click the 'Switch Account' button and *viola* you're on your other account.' Yes, but you know me and possibly a fraction of the other players, we find it a hassle to click a button to go to your alt, while you're in the middle of something on your main, just to go to a thread and edit it, then return to your main again. Confusing, I know

It can also help in certain cases. Imagine two users who are running an auction/sales/art thread. I'm pretty sure at some point, some of you wish to be able to share a thread without having to have two separate posts (furthermore, the 2nd post would usually disappear once you go to the next page), amirite? just me? okay... So, with the ability to grant permissions to other users to edit your thread, said users will be able to edit the thread while you're offline. Or, you could have settings, which brings me to my 'sub-suggestion'.

By adding someone to your thread, they by default, will have access to the body of the thread, meaning that they can edit/remove/add/etc text and images in the thread. So when you add someone to your thread, maybe there could be a settings panel where you can adjust/limit permissions given to a user, such as:

• Editing the thread while the owner is offline
• Changing the thread subject
• Moving the thread to a different board
• Etc

It could look like this:

Or like this:

That's all I have for now. If I have missed out on any details or if anything doesn't make sense, feel free to let me know :) Thank you for your time!

I dont support, only because say the poster has an uber long sales thread or something going, then someone with permission to edit is adding theirs, something happens, and everything is lost? I see that causing issues. I've done it to myself once or twice so I can only imagine.

I do think this is a good idea, but there should be a safeguard in place, or perhaps make this a feature only for main and side accounts.
