I've seen this feature in a couple of sites, and thought that it might be a good addition here. Basically it lets users star/feature forum posts on their threads. This is especially helpful for those who usually split their thread up into several posts (commonly found in art/lion sales treads).

I'm pretty bad at wording and explaining things, so please bear with me :') So, a post/reply on a page of a thread disappears when the a user clicks on another page. Starring/Featuring replies will keep the said replies on the top of all other replies, and prevent them from disappearing regardless of which page a user is on.

• This would be cool. Perhaps it could have the posts show up 'embedded' in the main master post at the very bottom of it. Love it!

Some posts get kinda long though. I feel like this would work out better if pinned posts were collapsible, so everyone doesn't have to scroll so much if they're not even interested in looking at that post anymore. Maybe have an account setting, too, that auto-collapses them if you're not on the page they were originally posted to? Not sure how difficult that'd be to code in though.
