Just had a person not abiding by my single stud rule, and was thinking it would be great if I had an option to reject that persons request with a note stating why I rejected it rather than have to loop around and send them a seperate DM stating the reason. Any thoughts on this?

Or you could just reject it and move on. You don't need to tell them why, and if you REALLY have to go and complain at them, then taking the .4 seconds to go dm them really isn't a big deal.

I personally like to know why people reject me.
Sometimes people do it on accident, sometimes there's a reason.

It would be nice to know if I'm not following their rules, so if I like their stud, I can be sure to follow it next time so I could continue studding them.

I would also love this option, I've known people who have gotten into arguments resulting in them being permanently banned from this game due to the other person reporting them for some bogus reason due to some feature like this not being in the game sooner... The mods could easily look back upon a person's reason for denial to stud and see if there was any foul-play involved rather than doing a roulette luck of the draw type deal... I know two very kind and gentle people who suffered from this happening in the past and they've never been able to appeal their cases or come back.

It'd also be a good way to keep arguments from starting to begin with, if you could just explain why during the rejection process rather than go at someone to message them and try to tell them why and they take it the wrong way or get offensive about it, or they just keep spamming you. It really could clear up a lot of issues having to do with stud requests. It seems like a simple process to just deny them and take a few seconds to explain why in a separate dm but some people can be... well, very difficult and some can be ever worse than that. At least with a feature like this you can have proof backed-up that the mods can sort through if they had to do so at any point.

Or, again, here me out here- you could NOT 'have a go' at someone, and simply reject their comment, block them if they're rude, and move on?...

Okay, but ignoring people rejecting for not reading the rules, there are other uses. For instance, I'll try 20 times and then reject, but I often send a pm as well explaining why I rejected and telling them they're free to resend it with a black stallion/chasteberry added. People often then do this. Or, I'll reject because their lioness isn't high enough food/happiness to breed. It would save a lot of time to have the reject option, which we already have in the trade post, so it shouldn't be hard to implement.

i think its a good idea. it's as useful as the comment for declining private trade/offers on trades feature, and obviously doable for the coders. not quite sure why you're so against it tbh

Good feature, especially since a lot of people end up just asking anyway. No one owes anyone an explanation, but it softens the blow a bit if theres a valid reason.

Just because I ask for a gb for really low percenters, doesn't give me an excuse to be nasty. There would be no real excuse for rudeness, in my book when a freindly reminder will do just as well. Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, EldrichVulpine :)

Sorry to hear what happened to your friends, 𝔊𝔦𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔢 :( that shouldn't have to happen to anyone, let alone nice people.

Also, thanks for commenting everyone. All opinions are welcome, for or against

I'd personally like this feature. Because I'm VLF-friendly, occasionally girls have to wait a day or so to be ready and their moods have dropped or I'm out of studs. It's a bit of a hassle to seek out the original stud request so I can see which user it is just to send them a PM.

I would also rather get 1 message rather than 2, especially because some messages get lost. Not to mention, no one likes overful PM boxes.
