Let's be honest, a ton of us probably forget about the patrols we send our sub males on.

I was thinking that we should have alerts for patrolling like we do with the hunting alerts (y'know, like the things that say "Your lionesses have returned from hunting!" notification). And for patrolling, we could have a notification that says something along the lines of, "[SUB MALE NAME] has finished patrolling!" or "Your lion has returned from his patrol!"or something like that.
