Backstory

Kithood (0-6 moons): Hyenakit was born with two other sisters and a brother, who died days after birth from malnourishment. Roseleaf saw this as a sign that Hyenakit would cause mass death. In grief, she told her forbidden mate, Thirdeye (a manipulative rogue) and he agreed to take the kit under his care to spare the clan. Roseleaf never sought to find Thirdeye and Hyenakit as she thought she was better off without them. Voletail, the medicine cat at the time and also Roseleaf's sister told the clan that Hyenakit had died too, and was buried with her littermates. Hyenakit took on the name Hyena to rid her of the 'toxic clan ways'. Hyena was trained to kill and fight mercilessly by Thirdeye. Thirdeye was proud in his work with Hyena and gathered wandering loners to teach them as well. Thirdeye spoke harshly of the clans to his group, influencing the young 3 moon old Hyena. She was trained under many others until she was able to teach younger group members.

Early Adulthood (7-12 moons): Hyena was named a warrior of the newly founded RidgeClan at 7 moons. She has proven herself to be worthy in a ruthless trial of a fight to the death. She successfully murdered the 5 moon old Rat, a scrawny black tom in the trial who has suffered major bite injuries. Hyena only suffered from a few claw marks. Hyena never let it show, but she was deeply troubled by the trial's result. The images of the tom's fearful eyes and the sounds of his screeches stained the back of her mind. She continued her time with Thirdeye and served as his second in command. Many more lives of the innocent were lost in her powerful jaws. At the age of 10 moons she finally confessed that she couldn't keep up with the duty of executing the innocents and wrongfully accused to Thirdeye and abandon RidgeClan. She wandered as a Loner for two moons before finding a scarlet tabby and a tortoiseshell who seemed to be in shock at the sight of her. The two later introduced themselves as Roseleaf and Voletail. She ran off, hoping not to run into any clan cat again.

Adulthood (12 - 96 moons): As the rumors spread of WindClan patrols seeing a eerily similar cat to the thought-to-be-deceased Hyenakit, the two sisters became more nervous day by day. Voletail was the one to confess to Dovestar that Hyenakit was still alive. Dovestar was taken back by the news, erupted into happiness and ordered Roseleaf and Voletail to find Hyena and bring her back. Roseleaf, Sootstep and Leopardheart were sent out to search for the pale tabby each night since they were the only ones (besides Voletail, but she needs to care for her clan as a medicine cat) who got to know Hyena before she was taken away. One moon passed since the first encounter and on a fateful leaf-bare evening Hyena was discovered malnourished and nearly frozen in place by Sootstep. He called for Roseleaf and Leopardheart, and all three carried the sickly tabby back to WindClan. Dovestar was the first to greet them, and immediately summoned Voletail to care for Hyena. A half-moon was the time it took for Hyena to adjust, and was given the name Hyenapaw when she agreed to become a clan member again. Many, though, were skeptical of her loyalty. She was mentored under Pheasantstep for three moons. Her strength, sturdy personality, and rule-following behavior surfaced which caught Dovestar's attention. She received her warrior name of Hyenastorm at the age of 15 moons. She proved herself to be faithful warrior throughout battles and law enforcement. She became more bitter towards her mother, Roseleaf. When Roseleaf confronted Hyenastorm about the attitude, Hyenastorm replied to her saying that her own existence is wrong. Roseleaf looked to the stars, and said "I think not. The stars do not put us here to make mistakes. They put us here to learn from them." Hyenastorm, frustrated turned away and spoke few words to Roseleaf. Hyenastorm was given an apprentice at 18 moons, Owlpaw. Owlpaw and Hyenastorm were opposites in every way possible. Owlpaw was snarky, independent and outgoing. Owlpaw often thought of Hyenastorm as a strict parent and sought to free herself from the clutches of the rule-enforcer. The tough and rocky relationship came to a smooth road when they spoke about their ambitions. Owlpaw dreamed of becoming leader and Hyenastorm dreamed of being the deputy. They often spoke to each other as their desired ranks, Hyenastorm referring to the apprentice as Owlstar as praise. When Hyenastorm and Owlpaw were together, the fantasies wouldn't end and the friendship grew. On Owlpaw's warrior name ceremony, Hyenastorm sat in vigil with her. Moons upon moons passed and the current deputy, Owlfoot (who the newly named Owlfall was named after) was growing old and could not keep up with the duties of being deputy. Dovestar was fond of Owlfall's apprenticeship with the pale tabby and selected Hyenastorm as the new deputy, hoping she would treat the clan as an apprentice in need of training.

Backstory

Kithood (0-6 moons): Swiftkit was the only kit born to Flowerblaze and the wretched Thrushfire. Thrushfire later died by drowning in frigid ice after chasing a WindClan patrol a quarter moon after her birth. Swiftkit, at age of 2 moons still had no clue of Thrushfire's gruesome murders from within in the clan when her mother passed from a Greencough outbreak. At 4 moons she had eventually learned of her father's brutal doings, however this would not affect her positive outlook on life.

Early Adulthood (7-12 moons): At the age of 6 moons, at her apprentice ceremony she had spoken out and requested to become the next medicine cat of RiverClan. The leader, taken aback reluctantly agreed, unsure if the spunky kit was ready for such a task. Swiftpaw learned many herbs quickly and to this day she still has much to learn.

Backstory

Kithood (0-6 moons): She was the first kit born to her mother. The second kit, Lifekit, was Branchwood's favorite from the moment she entered the world. However, she was quite weak. Her mother knew this and decided to name her Lifekit in the hopes that her name would keep her alive. Sadly, it didn't; Lifekit died a few months after she was born. Songkit was raised with the knowledge that her mother would gladly have traded her life for her sister's, and she couldn't see why. In the time that she'd known her sister, all she'd seen was dishonesty, annoyance, and arrogance. However, she soon came to understand that her father was from ShadowClan, and that Lifekit was the spitting image of him. Branchwood never realized that this whole favorite sister thing was slowly changing Songkit. What used to be a friendly, sociable kit turned into an antisocial, grumpy, angsty cat. Branchwood blamed Leafkit (now Leafpaw because he is older than Songkit by 4 moons) for Songkit's new personality, saying he was a bad influence when in fact, he was Songkit's only real friend. The horrible mother made sure Leafkit and Songkit never interacted with each other, for Songkit to "change back" (which she never did). The two grew further apart and barely talked to each other until Songkit's apprenticeship.

Early Adulthood (7-12 moons): After Songkit was named Songpaw, her mentor turned out to be Leafpaw's mentor's sister. The two mentors would hang out with each other all the time, which made their apprentices spend time with each other too. Slowly, Leafpaw and Songpaw became best friends again. Everyday, she takes delight in learning, having fun, and disobeying her snotty mother (who only fell in love with Pineshade because she thought he looked hot).

Kithood (0-6 moons):
Being born in a litter of 4, Wren That Flies With Wind fought for just about everything in his early life. His childhood with his biological mother is vaguely remembered by Wren and the rest of his siblings. His father was a distant figure in the very beginning of his life, he led an important role in the Tribe and was well respected by all cats. Owl From Great Tree (or Owl for short) took up the role of parenting whenever Dew From Morning Grass fell gravely sick from an intense labor. For the short moons when Wren was in the Tribe he idolized his father, and so did his littermates. When Wren was 3 moons old, the members of the clans passed through the mountain territory on an expedition. They arrived in a period of desperation for the tribe. Many cats, young and old alike, fell sick and were dying. Dew From Morning Grass could no longer care for her children, and so she decided to allow the strange clan cats to take her four children. Owl From Great Tree reluctantly allowed this and promised Wren that one day he would find them once more.

*Early Adulthood (7-12 moons):
By this time Wren That Flies With Wind had become Wrenkit, nursed by Skyslip, then apprenticed to an estranged warrior named Speckleap. Speckleap was a widow, left alone with her two kits. She was incredibly young, and her story had been a tragedy. She gave birth just moons out of her warrior ceremony, then her mate was killed in a skirmish with Riverclan. The Thunderclan leader at the time, Berrystar, believed that putting two younger, somewhat unconventional cats together would make for a learning experience for them both. Speckleap was determined to fill Wrenpaw with hate for Riverclan, but he refused to give in, knowing it was wrongful to feed into her grudge with their neighbouring clan. He couldn't bring himself to hate a clan where his sister, Quailflower, lived. Whenever his littermates and he were brought to the lake territory the leaders decided to divide them among the clans. Speckleap taught him well, grooming him into a strong warrior who was undyingly loyal to the code and his clan. The stares from other cats at Gatherings had died off, there were no longer whispers of him not being clanborn. He was now an important asset to his clan. Speckleap took her two kits and deserted the clan before Wrenpaw's warrior name, but in the end is nursing mother Skyslip would be there to watch him be named Wrenflight.

Adulthood (12- moons)
In his early warriorhood, Wrenflight earned his minimal scars on the side of his face from a skirmish with Shadowclan. His brother Hailjaw would pry off Blackeye from hurting Wrenflight any further. Wrenflight had gotten himself into this situation by protecting Snakepetal, the Thunderclan medicine cat, from Blackeye's attack while going to visit Shadowclan during Leafbare. This incident made the brothers closer than the rest of their littermates, and they talk frequently. When Wrenflight turned 13 moons he was surprised with the arrival of his father to the lake territory. Owl From Great Tree came to tell the news of their mother's death and the crumbling state of the Tribe. At this time only Wrenflight and Hailjaw know of their father's presence. Owl is currently in the elder's den at Thunderclan camp.

Backstory

Kithood (0-6 moons):
Hollowpaw was born outside of RiverClan to a she-cat name Ravensong. Ravensong desired to take her kits and run away, not wanting anything to do with clans anymore (rumor has it she witnessed a horrific death of a close friend or family member.) Hollow was taught a few basic fighting moves, but Ravensong's main focus for her daughter was hunting. Ravensong knew they would be travelling soon, and she wouldn't be able to hunt all the time. By the time Hollow reached 4 moons, Ravensong was ready to go. But just days before, a fox had caught her off-guard. She managed to fight it off, but died of her wounds soon after. Hollow, terrified and lonely, wandered into clan territories looking for her mother. RiverClan found her and took her in, and has thus began to train her. Hollowpaw knows nothing now off her mother-- just brief flashes and memories. RiverClan has kept it from her, as Ravensong's last words were to take care of her kit. Nobody knows how Hollowpaw would react if she ever discovered her past...

backstory

kithood (0-6 months):
medusa was born underneath a human's shed, the middle kitten of three. her mother, blanche, had been a migrant across a specific neighborhood, constantly changing living areas. her father, obsidian, had only mated with blanche due to her being in heat, fleeing when he heard that kits were on the way. blanche nursed max and medusa as well as canvas, but, having been living on human territory, a hound found the family. blanche was forced to abandon her newborn kittens in terror as the dog stepped on canvas' soft skull, crushing it.
this killed her instantly. medusa and max had to watch the scene unfold, watching with wide kitten eyes as their sister's shattered head trembled when she took her last breaths. it had been crushed to a pulp. nights and days passed. the two siblings were too frightened to try to find help. canvas began to decompose, as she was left in her littermates' vision.
however, about three days after the catastrophe, a human, perhaps the owner of the shed, discovered the orphaned kittens underneath the shed. carrying them into their home, they nurtured max and medusa to health once more.

*early adulthood (7-12 months):
fast forward 10 months. the siblings are now 10 months old. they, too young to fend for themselves, lived in the human's garage, where they were constantly given affection. the human had also, with the help of her partner, buried cavas near a riverbank. however, despite the female human's efforts to give them a comfortable life, their lives were far from normal.
the human's male partner often beat max into submission, while the female protected medusa fiercely. even though medusa was only hurt when the female was absent, she often had to rest eyes on a bruised, bloody brother. when max eventually had his tail shattered, medusa decided that the time had come to live on their own. late at night, medusa led max to a den she had scouted earlier, where they reside to this day.
medusa, after the trauma that happened to herself and to both of her siblings, decided to live a medicinal life. she collected different healing herbs, similar to a medicine cat, but she also collects gems and crystals with healing properties. medusa sometimes even takes other injured cats in to tend to them.
