So
If you arnt in chat, and someone pings you, what happens? You just miss the whole message? Or you come back and that person is expecting an answer or response, and they get offended because they think you are ignoring them.
Well i got a solution for you!!!
Im suggesting a message when you are not connected to chat for when people ping you. And ONLY when not in chat. Getting a message every single time you have been pinged would be annoying and clutter your inbox.
My other suggestion, as an alternative, is a message like the patrolling and hunting messages.

Please, if you don't support, explain why. I just want to understand what isn't great about this suggestion or how it wouldnt be helpful

I like this a lot, but I think it'd be better to have a page-bound notification with the message included in it if possible, because that way it won't be lost scrolling down, and there's no potential issue with full inboxes.

If this is not feasible for some dark coding sorcery reason I'm ignorant of, I still think it'd be a good idea to add some king of alert bound to the chat window that let's us know when we're pinged in another channel; the help channel is slow and from what I've seen there's more than a couple of minutes between asking a question and getting an answer, so this could be really helpful for those that are waiting for an answer but aren't stalking the channel at all times to check if there's an answer.
