I really like this, the only thing I feel is maybe if the tears had a small pool next to the lions paw instead of dropping off the image entirely - but that is just a minor thought, it is really well done and has a really cool look to it! :)

Think lineless looks better! Or maybe lined, but colour the lines so they're golden? Also yeah, puddle would be a bit better. Think of how tears fall down a face, they'll often kinda form the face until they nearly reach the chin before falling so it'd also be cool to see that heavy shape of the liquid a little more.
