I hate having to go to my inbox and respond to all my messages and read my game notifications and then delete any evidence any of it existed, because my inbox is full. This can make it impossible to go back and check messages for information that I needed, and also sometimes it just sucks to see that recent history of a really funny conversation disappear.

I’m proposing a change where instead of having to click ‘Delete All’ and watching all your messages go down the drain, that there’s a system where it gives people the option to ‘Delete messages older than [3 Months, 1 Month, 2 Weeks, 1 Week, etc]’ so that nothing gets trashed without the player having a say in it.

Tacenda (#67745) suggested: ‘This, but also with the option to mark certain messages as important that exempts them from being deleted.’

If this could work, it’d be a great help to any player not wanting to look through tons of messages just to save anything important to them, and maybe only a certain number could be flagged, as to keep the inbox limit the same and not intrude on the Purchasable extra inbox space.
