What is Vulpes-Burrow you may ask? Vulpes-Burrow is a fourm based fox breeding game. Vulpes-Burrow is simi-realistic based game, but has fantasy elements to it. Vulpes are based off real life foxes, but have caractristics that make them more abnormal. LorePlease note this is a WIP and can be edited with time. For now count this as the introduction to your Vulpes-Burrow game play. You are a species called a Vulpes. Vulpes are a genus of the Canidae. Otherwise known as true foxes. Vulpes are born in this world through natual means, but are infused with a different range of characteristics making each one new and unique. Most do not know how the first Vulpes came to this world, but they are called our founders. Without them our species would not exist today. We started out small but as time passes our comunity has grown leading to use breaking off into smaller skulks. Most newer Vulpes start off as Generation One Vulpes. Theses Vulpes are said to just appear, and are the closest decendents of our founders. No one has studied how our founders are made our species, but we do know what they created is the start of something new. Welcome to our world! Starting Up Dialog:Read before you begin playing Vulpes-Burrow *You found yourself wandering around in thought. You had just left your previous skulk in order to create your own. You had no idea where to start, this was so new. Everything is much harder than you planed. As you were walking you came accross a elder Vulpes in the distance. He looked worn with age you could tell his much brighter orange coloring of fur was now dulled to a pale brown. He wore a burlap cowl over is head and had a look that seemed very wise. You see him motion his paw for you to come closer. So you complied with the request. You walked over to him and sat down as you did he began to speak.* "Hello young one. I see you must be on your journey to start your own skulk correct?" You nod yes in reply. He gave a small smile "This world is vast and has many places that you can choose from to live, so you must be confused. How about I show you some places you may want to live?" You agree once more. *The elder then brings you to the top of a mountain. You can see several places below you.* "So, Where would you wish to live?" To do this you can either buy one is Flat sale, or auction. Win one in auction, or create a custom Vulpes. °So you got your first Vulpes. Now you can start playing. FAQHow do I get Started? The first thing you need to do is buy or adopt your very own Vulpes. Once you have your first Vulpes you can then start experiencing Vulpes-Burrow to the fullest extent What are Vulpes? Vulpes are fox like creatures and can have many different markings, looks, personalitys, etc. Vulpes can live in a varity of different habitats and are omnivores How to Obtain my first Vulpes There are several ways to obtain your first Vulpes: 1.) Buy - I will make designs for Gen 1 Vulpes and put them up for a Flat sale or Auction 2.) Raffles - If you can't afford to bid or autobuy a Vulpes I will be hosting raffles that you can participate in. Raffles will cost  or  . You can get free raffle tickets in quests, and events.3.)Player Sales - You can also buy Vulpes from other users. These could be unwanted Generation Ones or Vulpes they bred. 4.) Claiming - Claim a Wild/Rogue Vulpes What is a Raffle, and how can I enter one? A raffle will be where I [or sometimes other users] will put Vulpes when they are not in Flat sale or Auction. Raffles will be RNG based. You can enter a raffle with tickets. Tickets can be bought with SB/GB or obtained in various ways. [More info Soon] What is Claiming? Claiming is a feature in development. Claiming will allow you to get new Generation 1 Vulpes. Theses will never have more than 2 markings normally and are RNG based How do I explore? Exploring is a feature done with RNG. Exploring must be requested before doing so I can confirm your RNG rolls. If you comment you wish to use your steps and I am offline I will take the time stamp and do the math of the steps left. You are able to hold 100 steps at a time, making 10 steps 1 hour. Steps refill at 1 Step per 5 minutes. [Please read the Explore Section for more info] So I have a Vulpes, How do I breed? Breeding is based off a Male x Female. I will Use RNG to predict what genes will pass. Breeding will cost a fee of [Blank]. This is due to me having to add the markings etc on a base for how ever many kits are born. You may also use Breeding items bought or earned. Each item has its own purpose in helping your breeding. [Please read the Breeding Section for more info] Example: Mother - Slot 1: White Tail Tip Father - Slot 2: Onyx Ear Tips Possible Cubs: 1- Markingless 2/3- Only Just Mother, or Fathers Marking 4- Both Parents Markings Terms & InformationYou cannot make your own Vulpes without permission. The Line art belongs to me [Winter_Scars #57411]. If you want a custom they must be paid for, and you will be given a template. This template will not be the original lineart it is a simple base where you can put the colors and markings on. This is to avoid you making your own Vulpes without paying. I will check the design and base a Vulpes off of the image and information given. Reselling Clause for Vulpes. You are allowed to resell or trade any Vulpes you get. The price may NOT be more that what you bought them for from me. I will have a spreadsheet documenting Vulpes prices. If you are caught selling a Vulpes for more than its orginal worth you will be warned once. If you repeat this offence again you will be banned from the Vulpes-Burrow thread. Do not complain about prices, and please be patient. I am the only one working on Vulpes-Burrow at the moment. This means all content and features are being made by one person alone. Your first marking can be common and it is free.°Uncommon Markings Cost 250 per.°Rare Markings Cost 500 per.°Special Markings can only be applied via applicators. Only certin bases can be chosen from for customs Here is list of Bases and Markings you can use. ° You will be PMed with your custom, rather than it be posted via fourm. ° Customs will always be considered Generation One. ° Put everything in one post, please! This is so I know who gets what. You can edit your post if you missed something or pm me. ° A visual reference is highly preferred, but not necessary. ° Please read below the cans and cannots for customs: You can: °Get a Vulpes designed how you want within the rules listed. °Order as many as you can afford or however many it takes to fill up slots. °Get edits to the line work if a fee is paid. You cannot: °Get markings that are raffle or event only. °Get letters or numbers on your Vulpes as markings. °Get edits that are not physically possible for the Vulpes to have. °Take the design of another users or previously created Vulpes. °Resell your custom at a fee higher that the orignal price. 0 players like this post! ClaimingWIP, Claiming will be based on RNG. You will sometimes when exploring run into a Wild Vulpes that you can claim if you wish. If you leave them or fail to claim this same Vulpes may apear again. Breeding°You may breed any 2 Vulpes together so long as inbreed is at least 4 generations long(The kitss Great, Great, Great Grandparent) °Breeding costs a fee of [Blank] °Once Bred you must build a Burrow. Player Vulpes SalesHere I will list Vulpes that you as users are selling. When a user sells a Vulpes you pay me a small amount of the final Sale price. I ask for 40% of the Final Sale Amount. This is due to all art and markings being made by me personally. Example: You Sold a Vulpes for 5 . Payment is sent to me I take 40% (2 is the payment I recive). The rest of the in this case 3 will go to the user who sold the Vulpes.Shop Thread Player Items SalesHere you can sell items that you found in explore or through events. You can sell these at a cheaper price that the NPC Shops. I don't ask for any % of earnings for item sells. Shop Thread 0 players like this post!
