Actually, you can already tell. If they are an adult and have a mutation, they cannot be sex-changed, same with adult and heritageless. It tells you how many times they have patrolled, or if they've been bred with either beingg a disqualifier for sex-changing, and adolescents and cubs are sex-changeable regardless of mutation or heritage. All you have to do is look at the lion's info.

I agree with Ely, it's pretty easy to check; all the info is already on lion's page. Cubs can always be sex changed. Adult sex changer lists all traits you need to check: 2 to 3 years, not mutated, not hunted/patrolled/bred, not heritageless.

SO...now that I've been on abit longer (less newb-ish...lol), I agree I agree, BUT, think about how fast people don't want to even 'TRY' because something is too difficult at the onset?...[think back to many peoples' most-hated school subjects, math or chemistry for example...and pretty much "gave up" before they even started]...No bueno for new game participants IMO.

Also, what you are saying makes perfect sense to me these days, just for the record .
BUT, all I am stating is, did you automatically "KNOW" that when you selected 'said' item, for example, a sex-changer, that it's a fast(er) way to see who is/is not changeable? It's abit of a learning curve, and alot of things are learned through trial/error, & it would perhaps speed up at least abit of that learning curve. I mean it's abit difficult to read ALL OF THE WIKI regarding how to play...most people prefer to try things out...and I, for example, was nearly dissuaded from playing with my gf due to how un-user friendly some aspects of the game are. This being one of them.

This is ALL, of course, assuming a new(er) player ENJOYS the game enough to invest monetary currency into it, to actually PURCHASE a sex-changer...which, in my own case, took several months.

I only brought this up because at the time, if I hadn't had my gf teach me some of those now 'of course everyone knows how to shortcut whatever, I would still be looking for faster/easier ways to reach the same outcome.

The game itself is very fun, partially, {to me anyway} due to its intricacies, so I only wanted to make it perhaps easier to navigate for newbies in the future (and maybe make it even faster to look at "can I change this lion if I buy it"...

When you use a sexchanger, it lists the lions you can use it on. There's no need for an option just so people can be lazy.
