F.A.Q.
What is this?
These are questions to help you build a world and characters. They will mostly be fantasy geared questions, but this may change in the future.
Raffle?
Every three weeks, on Monday or Tuesday (whenever time permits), those that have answered the questions will have received points. Each point is worth one raffle entry.
Points?
You gain points simply by giving well thought out answers to the questions. You can gain up to four points a week, two points from each part of the week. You can either give a more basic answer to the questions and get one point for each question, or pick one of the two questions and write a thorough answer to receive two points.
Is their an answer length minimum?
There are what I would like to call... 'soft' minimums.
To gain one point for a question, there is a minimum of 3 sentences, or about 70 words.
To gain the two points from one question, your answer must about 6 sentences long, or over 150 words.
To count as a sentences, they must be complete sentences and at least 8 words long.
What is World Building?
World building is the process of constructing an imaginary world, sometimes associated with a whole fictional universe.
This ‘world’ you are building could be as small as a single country or as large as a universe.
To answer world building questions, you must have a world in mind you’d like to work with and develop. This could be a world you’ve been working on for a long time, or just a world you want to start now, because of these questions.
To start out, you should answer some basic questions for yourself: What size world will you be building? Will this world be magical? Will it be much like our own, or vastly different?
You should set some sort of ground work down before you start answering questions, or it may be hard to begin.
