I'd love to help! I've helped create and moderate over 6 different RP Servers on Discord before and I'm fluent in using Discord Bots to set permissions for Roles, as well as streamlining information and creating combat/rolling systems (if they're needed at all).

@Leaux That'd be great! If we all unanimously agreed on Discord as our platform, I'll contact you ASAP. I've never made Discord roleplays so this'll be interesting. I suppose the only downside to Discord is the 2k character limit, but double and triple posting will probably fix that.

Yeah, the character limit can be stifling but I often do 2-3 posts whenever I'm in a longform RP on Discord and I don't find it too difficult to keep on top of! Just lmk if it gets decided on for Discord or not! (If it's forums, I likely wont join just bc Lioden isn't accessible to me on Mobile and I'm mobile about 50% of the time haha)

I may be interested! I like the premise, I just have some questions. What's the main plotline (has a new habitable planet been located already and a course set for it, etc)? What was the technology/medical level when Earth had to be evacuated (more advanced than 21st century, etc)? What's the time period/year/etc (how far in the future does this take place)? And, pre-wasteland Earth, was there further exploration of the other planets in the Milky War (can they live on Mars, etc) and was there contact with alien/unknown life forms (cyborgs, etc)?

1. I had two ideas on the main plotline for the rp. The first would revolve around the corruption that developed throughout the years and how the people are being neglected which results in a rebellion. Second is a group of people delegated to a research station that travels beside the main spacecraft. Due to a malfunctioning module responsible for the force field that normally deflects foreign debris, the station gets hit and splinters off. They eventually reroute to a nearby habitable planet that they previously scouted by drone. With their communications offline and tracking module destroyed, they have no choice but to survive long enough for a rescue team to come for them.

2. Humanity has advanced enough to colonize a planet or two, however, they can't sustain themselves effectively without Earth. Space tourism is a booming economy that even the middle-class can afford. Medically, there's cybernetics and cryogenics. There's more but I can't think of them at the top of my head.

3. I'd say 300 years in the future, give or take.

4. Mars and Europa were colonized but not for long. They get most of their supplies from Earth, so even if they mined the asteroids around them, they won't have enough to sustain their growing population. Also, humans were able to visit other systems aside from their own.

5. Nope. Intelligent lifeforms have not been discovered nor interacted with, but live bacteria were found in Europa which prompted the surge of demand for space travel in the first place. But that doesn't mean we won't meet one in the roleplay.

I'd definitely like to give this a whirl! New to Discord but old to rp'ing, can't be that hard to learn, right?
Surviving an unexplored planet sounds like a really cool plot, I'd definitely cast my vote for that! But I'd want to join for either plot, for sure!

Discord is very easy to get used to. There's a 2k character limit, which is roughly around 300 words. So if you're used to posting more than 300 words, you'll just have to double/triple post. But that's it. Also, expect some OOC.

I'm not overly familiar with this genre, but there's a first time for everything! The second option sounds the most promising to me, but I wouldn't mind participating in either idea. Discord probably is your best bet as far as hosting goes, but again I'm fine with whichever platform you choose.

I just started summer break so I've got plenty of time in my hands. Might as well waste them on roleplays when I haven't joined one for the last few months except for a single 1x1. Thinking of reviving some of the old roleplays. This time I'll have to speed up the process since I feel like Riders of Ecadius would've benefited if the dragons were introduced sooner to get things up and running. Can't wait to see you in the roleplay!
