I searched around for a similar/same topic and I couldn't find any, so I thought I would share my thoughts.

If anyone keeps beetles, you know what a pain it is to train them. I have 2 accounts, and I have had many days where all my beetles fail their training. This can be infuriating to no end.

My suggestion is to increase the chances of your beetles gaining a stat boost from training. Just up the percentage enough for a fair chance at gaining a stat. Lionesses can continuously gain stats while hunting, cub training has a 75% chance at success, submales have a fair chance of gaining stats every patrol, so why are beetles so prone to failure?

Personally, I love my little insect friends. I think they're fascinating. Having them fail all the time is a major drawback of beetle keeping. It's like trying to move a boulder with just your hands.

I think upping the percentage can make beetle keeping a little more rewarding aside from just having a cool pet.
