now, you may be wondering... what are "dreamwalkers"?

dreamwalkers are spirits that guide all kinds of creatures through the obstacles of life. they live in caves and feed on gems. however, dreamwalkers don't need any food or water to survive.

now that you know that, let me tell you a bit more about dreamwalkers.

every time a creature wishes upon a falling star, one dreamwalker is born. therefore, dreamwalkers don't reproduce. they are gender fluid.

dreamwalkers begin as newborns, and as they grow older they age. their life goal is to keep the creature that they are protecting safe. one dreamwalker can protect one creature. once the creature that the dreamwalker is protecting dies, so does the dreamwalker. that is why a bond between a creature and their dreamwalker is very close.

so, how does a dreamwalker choose which creature they will be protecting for the rest of their life?

the creature that made a wish upon a falling star has a very high chance to get the dreamwalker. but in some cases (ex. the creature already has a dreamwalker), the older dreamwalkers will decide which creature will be for that one dreamwalker. those dreamwalkers that do not have their own creature are miserable, so all dreamwalkers work together to find the right creature that needs protection.


dreamwalkers have the ability of shapeshifting. whenever they send a dream to a certain creature, they enter the dream as someone else.

most dreams sent from dreamwalkers have a good intention, include advice, help etc. but not all dreamwalkers are peaceful. there is a special kind of dreamwalkers - the dark dreamwalkers. they are born from an evil or corrupted wish. dark dreamwalkers are the ones who advise their creatures to do bad things and they send their creature nightmares instead of normal dreams.

but thankfully, there is a way to purify a dark dreamwalker! there is a potion that can be created with different types of gemstones and some other ingredients. the potion is called 'starlight'.


the starlight potion isn't the only useful thing in the dreamwalker lands. all items can be bought in the "dreamy shop".
