SO since I have joined Lioden, I have seen that there are a majority of people who care about their kings being clean or unclean.
Im not exactly sure how this concept is already, but I think it would be cool to see the gene code of our lions. Yes i realize you can look in their heritage for inbreeding.

My idea kinda is like being able to see the gene code and see if there are certain genes present in each lion.
Like if there is a recessive gene for a mutation or lethal mutation.

I also think it would be cool if there were a 25% or less chance to get a mutation when inbreeding.

I currently do not care if my lions are clean or not, it does not affect them at all. I think it would be cool if there was a "penalty" for inbreeding.

This suggestion has 4 supports and 15 NO supports.

SO it's obvious I suck at forming my ideas into words. I mean like there be a higher chance for mutations.
Lethal, or non lethal..

It's been stated before that inbreeding will never have an effect on gameplay, and there is no such thing as recessive genes in this game. The only genes breeding takes into consideration are those of the direct parents.

Thats not really a penalty. And it gives dirty breeders (which are majority of the site) the edge over everyone else. So, it's not fair.

I'm not even sure lions HAVE gene codes. Staff wouldn't show that kind of stuff anyway, even for direct parents, because things like "random rosettes" require specific and secret breeding requirements and there's no way they'd just show that. Lions also don't have higher chances for mutations unless they have something that is passable, like piebaldism

Even if there isnt anything about inbreeding that affcts game play, it would still be super cool to see a gene code to see what has a possibility to carry into cubs. And you can not tell me lions do not, lions do and this game could too it would just take some time to create

I believe inbreeding playing apart in mutations was already rejected by admins ^^

I meant lions in the game. Real lions do have gene codes. But the ones in this game were never coded to have any. It would certainly be too big of a rehaul for something so small

With support, of course, i think it could be done, but the idea would have to be supported by lik over 2/3 of lioden.

Plus the community isn't very fond of it in all fairness.

I wouldnt expect them to me. After all it seems all most everyone wants is fairness. people who inbreed wouldnt be getting it fair and neither would non inbreeders

The bottom line is that inbreeding will never have any sort of effect on gameplay or breeding. "Clean" vs "dirty" gameplay and breeding is a personal choice, and it should remain that way.

I totally agree with you. It should stay a choice. but as someone who doesnt care at all about inbreeding, i think it would be another cool addition to the game.
SHoot, i have a lioness and a cub that have inbreeding in their heritage 3 times and i also have clean ladies. But i think that the personal choice should also have something with it.

I’ll always support suggestions for inbreeding affecting things because it would make the game more interesting, even if in the end it won't happen
