Hello!

This topic I will be talking about "clean" lions. Now, I do not know too much myself (partly because of the diffrent versions of it) but I do think this idea would make it easier for everyone to understand. Especially since clean lions are becoming more popular AND being priced at a largely higher price.

I was thinking about how any different versions of "clean" lions there are, and about how this can make things a bit confusing. But what if Lioden made an official "tag" or "label" for a officially clean lion??

Let me explain, when I say tag or label I mean somthing that could officially mark that that lion is clean without having to go ALL the way back into the lions heritage. This would not only make it easier for people to find clean lions but also clear up some of the blurriness that defines a clean lion. This could be marked maybe on the heritage page at the top or maybe some where in the lions info.

How would we decide which definition of "clean" would be the official one?? I feel like the best way to determine this would be a vote, and if people couldnt come up with an agreement that way maybe make an "Inbred Clean" and a "Hearitage Clean" or something along those lines.

I have seen many arguments on what makes a clean lion clean, including people accusing people of false advertising, when maybe they simply thought it was. Having a offical label would prevent these arguments, along with also avoiding people getting ripped off by being told they are getting a clean lion when in reality they aren't.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on this idea also!

(Also feel free to move this if it's not in the correct place!)

Even if it were possible to get everyone to agree on one definition, or on multiple that could all be used, I'm not sure it's logistically feasible to do. I think it's been mentioned in the past that it isn't possible for the system to automatically search back through every page of heritage to check whether a lion has inbreeding at any stage or not. Because of the sheer size of heritages in many cases, iirc. I think the reasoning is just that it would be an impossible strain on the server - if it was even possible to code - with the way heritages currently work. I believe that's why the 'instances of inbreeding' number only includes the first page of heritages.

Edit to add: I found the news post I was thinking of, which mentions this: link - "It does not go way back for every parent and grandparent, we're unable to add a system that checks thousands of lions. If you care for full lineage inbreeding information you have to check each parent and grandparent yourself to be sure"

Personally, that of "clean" and "dirty" lions seems to me unimportant, as the game says "has no effect on the game" so in my opinion everything was prettier when this was not marked on the page of your Lion. And this is only in my personal opinion of why I do not support this issue, besides that when they published it, it was said that the person interested in knowing if it was clean or not, should look at each page of the lion's grandparents.

Much as I'd like this just for a general quality of life, it's been mentioned too many times that it's just not feasible.

What we have now was the compromise, making it at least much easier for people that care to check.
