Deep in the forest live three packs of wild foxes: RedPack, GrayPack, and SnowPack. RedPack is made up of Red Foxes. GrayPack is made up of Gray Foxes. SnowPack is made up of Arctic Foxes. Crossbreeds are despised and are never allowed into the packs, forced to be loners. The three packs are fighting for control of the forest. Who will ultimately triumph? Join to Find Out!

Pack Information

RedPack

Made up of Red Foxes. RedPack is by far the fiercest pack, breathtaking in battles. They train the hardest, and are excellent fighters. They are ambitious, and also a bit crafty. They are all strictly bonded to each other, and care for each of their members probably more than any of the other packs.

GrayPack

Made up of Gray Foxes, GrayPack is by far the craftiest and cleverest pack. RedPack almost matches them in smarts, but GrayPack ultimately triumphs, as they don't focus on fighting as much as RedPack and have more time for thinking out plans.

SnowPack

Made up of Arctic Foxes, SnowPack came down to the forest due to global warming and climate change. They have white coats, and therefore do not blend in very well in the forest, which isn't good during battles, which leads them to be the most peaceful pack. They try to stay out of the fights, and make peace when they can. But if they are attacked, they will not give up their land. For food, they mostly fish around the river when their isn't snow, but when there is snow, their coats come in handy for hunting.

RedPack is currently trying to drive GrayPack out of the forest, by launching surprise attacks left and right. GrayPack is defending against them. SnowPack is staying out of the fighting, but suffering from a disease that is killing fox after fox...Little do they know, this is GrayPack's work, they are poisoning SnowPack's section of the river.

No profanity . I know that this is going to be annoying for some people, but still. Things like “she swore under her breath” or “he shouted a curse to the wind” are ok, but nothing specific.
If something in the plot isn’t working out well for you, please post your problem on the Roleplay Discussion page.
All of the Lioden Roleplay rules apply here.
What I say goes. If you have a problem, message me privately.
Put Apple under other.
No powerplaying.
No mary/gary sues.
Please MxF only.
You ask before killing or seriously injuring another player’s character.
Hate the character, not the player.
If you need to discuss something with another player, please do that privately, not on the roleplay.
This Roleplay is going to be REALISTIC. This means, for example, if you get in a fight, your wounds don’t heal in one day. Being a fox pup or any other baby animal does NOT give you Roleplay armor. You do not catch something every time you try. Sickness is very real in this roleplay. There are no unlimited dodges or OP attacks. There will also be natural disasters. I will decide when and what they are. If you have a request for a natural disaster, message me.
Big plot-changers for everyone have to be approved by me and the majority of the roleplay. Post your ideas on the RolePlay Discussion page.
Please include a good amount of description.
I will tolerate NOTHING inappropriate of any sort. Violence is fine, but nothing else. I will not wait to report you to Lioden if need be.
Three Warnings and you’re out.
You can have as many characters as you want.
Actually, put pineapple.
Stay safe and have fun! :D

NOTES AND GUIDE

At random times, I will send out messages that apply to everyone in the roleplay (e.g. a tornado is coming, humans are burning down a part of the forest, e.t.c.)
Keep in mind that most hunts are unsuccessful.
Injuries take lots of time to heal (e.g. If your animals gets a broken leg, it will take up to about 6 weeks to heal and they can barely hunt during this time). Wounds can get infected if left untreated. Injuries can affect unborn pupsl. This is going to be REALISTIC!

PACK ROLES

ALPHAS
The Alphas are the wisest, strongest, and leaders of the fox pack as they hold almost absolute control over their pack members. The Alphas are responsible for leading the pack on hunts, establishing pack territory and its safety, accepting strangers into the pack or driving errant wolves out of the pack. They are responsible for keeping the pack in order and in control and will take many precautions to see that the pack is not disturbed. Each pack member is considered family but respect is still persistent. The Alpha couple is always the first to eat from a kill, gets the biggest portions and choicest cuts of food. They tell the pack what to do, where to go, and how to work without questions from their members. Keeping things on a strict basis is their way of showing their care and concern for the pack-mates. The Alpha foxes can also choose their most trusted companions to become their Betas. They demand respect and are in a position to punish or banish those who do not show it. An Alphas command can not be disobeyed without consequences.

Betas
The Betas is the highest-ranking fox in the pack just below the Alpha couple. The Beta pair are essentially the second-in-command of the wolf pack and beyond this most significant point, the Betas is otherwise similar to wolves in the High rank. When the Alpha's are absent (which can be because they are surveying areas, choosing new territory, editing sites, etc), it is the Betas’ job to make sure the pack is organized and under control. Any problems that occur in the pack, the Betas report to the Alphas and allow the Alphas to take control. When the Alphas are indeed away for a time, these wolves are the next in authority and demand the same respect and control from their packmates.

Deltas
A Delta is known as a third in command, they are below the Alphas and Betas but are higher up in the rankings than other foxes. Deltas usually take control of the training when the Betas or Alphas are too busy to do so.

Mothers
Mother Foxes give birth to pups and care for them until they are six months old and become apprentices. Mothers are important parts of the pack as they help pups grow up. They are in charge of schooling and teaching the pups the ways of the world and giving them information directly from the Alphas and Betas. While a mother is not caring for pups, she can also double as any other rank in the pack.

Lead Warrior
The lead warrior takes his/her orders directly from the Alphas or Betas. They are the main leader, general, or captain of the warriors in the pack. Lead Warrior foxes protect the pack with their lives and will not back down from a fight against something that is threatening the pack. They go on border controls to keep an eye on the pack borders, and usually are the ones who bring new wolves to the Alphas and if Alphas are away then Betas. They are in charge of training the warriors.

Warriors
The amount of warriors depends on the size of the pack. They are the guardians and protectors of the pack. The warriors will roam the pack lands ensuring it's safety. They are the ones that will keep watch at night. They protect the pack with their lives. If the pack is threatened and the Hunters and Scouts are in danger, they take their place and fight for the safety of the pack. Although most of the pack does join in battles, the warrior always lead it and have had the most training. They defend against enemy packs and predators. The warriors must be quick to think and remain calm in any given situation.

Scouts
Scouts are usually the fastest and stealthiest foxes. Their job is to spy on enemy territory and bring the news to the Alphas. They also go first in battle, secretly scoping out the battlefield. They must be very quiet when going about, and good at finding ways to eavesdrop and spy on others. Scouts are an important role in the pack.

Hunters
Unlike Wolf Packs, Fox Packs do not hunt together. Instead, there are designated hunters that bring back most food for the pack. Other foxes can hunt on their own, but the hunters do most of it. They are fast, quick, and stealthy.

Healers
When someone is injured from a battle, fight or accident, they are to be sent to a healer. Healers are wolves who are good with medicine/herbs and looking after foxes. Healers stay out of pack fights as they are needed to heal. If there are no healers, the pack can slowly grow weak.

Omegas
There are usually multiple Omegas in a pack. They are similar to the Alphas but at the opposite end of the pack ranking system. Foxes can become Omegas for multiple reasons. If there are any foxes born with a defect, such as a puny leg or a blind eye, they are considered a weakness to the pack and become Omegas. Also, if there are any extremely weak and sickly wolves, they also must become Omegas. The Omegas have no authority in the pack except over pups, and virtually no rights. Omega foxes are often abused and tormented by the rest of the pack. They are always picked on and often hurt by bored pack-members. As the last allowed to feed on kills, these foxes get the leanest and worst portions of meat and typically risk starvation during poor hunting periods.

Pack Information
The Fox Packs have a very strict social system that must be followed in order for the whole pack to work together. Here is some important information on how they work.
When pups are six months old, they are allowed to become apprentices.
Fox pups can become apprentices to Warriors, Scouts, Hunters, and Healers. The limit is one apprentice to each mentor.
Once foxes are a year of age, they are considered adults and will have a final test to see if they are worthy of their role. For Warrior Apprentices, this is fighting the Lead Warrior, who then deems the apprentice worthy or not. For Scout Apprentices, this is successfully spying and gathering information from the enemy. For Hunter Apprentices, this is coming up with a successful hunting strategy single-handedly. For Healer Apprentices, this is successfully treating a series of different wounds. If any of the apprentices fail at this, they will be given two more chances. If they fail both of them, then they will either become Omegas or train for another year and a half. The mentor gets to decide which the apprentice is worthy of.
Only the Alpha Male is allowed to mate.
Rouge foxes are allowed. They are usually crossbreeds.
