Clans of The North

Introduction

Welcome you have stumbled upon the thread about four clans, but oh wait there is a fifth one actually. Although this fifth one is quite unknown to the modern day clans you will learn about here soon, but this fifth clan was know after a certain cat didn't want to well stay dead entirely an was blessed. Now enough on that, and I will lead you onto the modern day an living clans haha. Oh! I forgot to mention there is a prophecy going around already that Starclan themselves are talking about, and yet to send it down to the clans to find out. Time will tell for when this prophecy will come, but come now keep reading I will tell you about each clan. Even the elusive fifth clan, but only very select few know of this clan still an they are elders now.

The Clans

Here we go my darlings I begin to tell you about the clans, and their stuff you will need to know to join them.

Rainclan
Rainclan is a group of cats recognized for their prowess at both swimming and hunting in treacherous waters, their territory sits upon a grassy prominence to circumvent losing clan mates in flood season as the water levels rise and threaten kits and apprentices which haven't quite mastered the art of swimming. They are by far the most approachable out of the three other clans but don't underestimate these fierce felines as they will not tolerate any treachery. One of their most admired skills is how dexterous they are within water, their talent for fighting within water as well as on land is murmured about among the other clans.Their territory is a series of knolls and hillocks, a few trees are scattered about but mostly vigorous trees, berry bushes and thick lush grasses. A majority of their territory is open grasslands with their camp encircled by a fast flowing channel. There is a assortment of stepping stones for visiting cats to carefully travel upon so that they may avoid getting their paws thoroughly soaked.
The cats are lithe in frame but with sinewy muscles rippling just underneath their coat not one cat could deny this clan is strong, with thick coats that shed water like how water rolls off of a ducks back they can easily maneuver through the water without getting fatigued. Their coats range in many hues though many have marking familiar to that of a Maine Coons, they commonly have webbed paws to further help them navigate the treacherous icy waters.

Swiftclan
Swift Clan is a group of felines known for their exceptional swiftness, their coat length is rather short as many generations have changed through several moons so that future clan cats are more proficient with both speed and hunting down nimble creatures. They are the most courageous and compassionate out of the other three clans, they will willing help any outsider in need unless proven that they are untrustworthy or have somehow harmed the clan and can never redeem themselves. With their robust framed they are by far excellent hunters, fighters and are rumored to be quite sagacious. Their territory incorporates several low ground shrubbery with other abundance of foliage except for trees as the scorching sun, with the soil not being as fertile only sturdy foliage could thrive in the harsh blazing heat of the vast prairie that Swiftclan calls home. Within the vastness, small winding streams can be found though they are rare and usually difficult to find unless their location is remembered. The camp is hidden within a nullah which happens to be a dry riverbed located within a ravine cloaked with thick brush to hide it from peering eyes. A vast majority of the dens are dug within the cool soil so that the clan cats can escape from the scorching heat, a few other dens can be found with rocky crags that drip with droplets of drinkable liquid.
The cats have long limbs with lithe frames, they are smaller in build compared to the other clans though are by far the fastest. Their fur is shorter in length with most of the clan having light fur colors with the range of light brown to a dusty off-color white to help them blend into their barren territory.

Owlclan
Owl clan is a group of cats who remain elusive and thrive in a environment shrouded in thick foliage, most of their territory is blanketed in thick darkness with creeping shadows lingering around every corner. Most other clan cats refrain from venturing into Own Clan territory in fear that they may be engulfed in the obsidian darkness while the few brave move forward fearlessly in search for the mysterious felines that reside within the shadows. After a newcomers orbs adjust to the darkness it can become easier for them to maneuver through the darkness, a majority of Owl Clan cats are able to climb trees with ease to hunt down nimble prey or hunt on the ground with the same amount of proficiency. Their skill in ambushing prey and other feline is uncanny, their brutality in battle is admired and feared by the other clans as they fight with such ferocity until the battle is won or lost. It is rumored that their camp is tucked away in a clearing with thick brambles surroundings the perimeter, the brambles are stacked in such a way that some would even say that it appears like a wall except for the entrance which is a dug out tunnel with the bramble wall concealing it from sight, only Owl Clan cats know the entrance and how to expertly avoid the pricking thorns.
The cats are large in size, a majority have dark coats that camouflage them within their surroundings. A majority of the cats are decorated with scars except for a few which are usually the young, their bulky frames ripple with sinewy muscle which would surely make any opposing feline rethink their tactics in fighting such a threatening opponent.

Pineclan
Pineclan is a group of cats that are recognized as menacing ambushers and resourceful hunters within the vast marshes. They are viewed as the most perplexing clan which challenges even Owlclan. They are generally untrusting and ungenerous when it comes to the cats of the other clans. Their conviction for the leader can be admirable and within the right circumstances that are known to compassionate to cats from other clans or rogues that perhaps wandered into their territory. They are cautious of the other three clans but it is rumored that they are gregarious towards Rainclan. Their territory resides within several bogs encompassed by willows, aspens, elm and many other variations of foliage. Much of the land is difficult to hunt on as most of the ground is too soft to support any heavy weight. A lot of the mire is muddy which makes hunting quite difficult though the water teems with prey like various species of fish and many aquatic creatures ripe for picking. Not a single outsider knows where Pineclans camp is located at, they must be escorted there and even then they will lead in several paths so no one can discover the camps location.
The cats are usually small in stature and quite agile with short, sleek fur which assists them with swimming. They commonly reek of the bog but they expertly use their stench as an advantage to cover their scent when hunting down prey. Through many generations Pineclan has developed webbed toes to help them navigate throughout their territory with ease.

Now to meet the long forgotten, and elusive clan you get to learn about. Yet joining this clan is open for now an only open to 10 joining it since not many have joined this roleplay yet.

Ghostclan
Ghost Clan was established after cats from the existing clans were given a space on The Ageless Vale from Starclan, they were allowed to choose from any territory they desired to live within. Some cats have only seen flashes and glimpses of them from the distant past but have long since forgotten them. Every individual Ghostclan cat is a legend from their respective clan either for being courageous, a magnificent hunter or a unrelenting warrior that fought tooth and claw until their demise. A majority of felines who perish will not be honored to join this clan when they die but the few who show exemplary traits and good deeds from their life are welcomed within Ghostclan as a legend, a martyr. The few individuals who are visited by the celestial felines are given three choices. They are to either to live amongst Ghostclan, move on into Starclan or are even given the choice to either come back from the dead and continue their life or start over fresh. Their camp has never been discovered and it will remain so as it can only ever be found by members of Ghostclan.
The celestial felines are very evasive and difficult to locate due to the fact that their pelt becomes transparent when obscured in the shadows though when they are enveloped with light their pelts coruscate with light as if they were touched and blessed by Starclan. When in the light, Ghostclan can move within an blink of a eye to avoid being seen which can cause confusion within a living cats mind and disorient them enough to forget the encounter. Ghostclan is made up of many different felines as the clan is made up of varying breeds which contain different sizes, builds and pelts.

Now that you know about all the clans how about know something common to all cats is the Warrior code! I am sure those who read this know it already I am sure, but if you don't you may read it in discord server!
