I used to just horde what lions looked nice as well, and I enjoyed it, which is what really matters. I recently got a piebald cub unintentionally, and my whole game plan is changing. I’ve decided I like rare bases, specifically the ones in the same color group as my piebald cub. So now I am collecting lionesses with bases of the same color group (or bases that lead to combo bases), so that I can breed for bases I like.

So my recommendation is do research on what you like and work towards it. And you don’t have to go all out immediately. Small changes in decisions and habits here and there put you on the right path towards your end goal.

straight up keep what ya like sell what ya don't!! for the last 2 years or so i've just bred and kept whatever has like 5+ markings. few months ago i realized inbreeding exists and i don't want it
doesn't effect the game and most people don't bother with it but have decided no inbreeding in line and 7+ markings or gtfo.

honestly nobody on this game seems to want 1 certain type of lion line i don't see many people who aim for the same thing i think generally just breed what you like & if its pretty keep it!
