Lioden Decorations Categories Suggestions

There are a lot of decors on Lioden. They are the creme de là creme of the game!
However, as it goes… So many exist, but not as many are known by the players. Even when selling and trading decors, not everyone even knows what they are, as they have creative names not always describing what they are (principally on backgrounds).
My suggestion is, firstly, categorizing decorations. Items and Backgrounds could be receiving categorization by tags, for example; which could be used to further specify what item we are looking for on the oasis or on shops; and secondly, the categorization could be used on wardrobe for players planning their lion’s looks.
I do believe these tags would also help a lot custom decorations to be more widely known to the players, but i don’t think it would be a nice idea for the tags for be customizable; a set of few, pre-made, categories would be available for the custom decor maker to choose and correctly categorize their new item.

Here are my ideas of categories:

• Animals (ex: birds, characters)


• Accessories (ex: wings, clothing, scars, extensions)


• Foreground (ex: thorns, twigs, grass)


• Middleground (ex: dripping lava, cave stones)


• Atmospheric (ex: falling petals)


• Plants (ex: flowers)

• Desert


• Water


• Fire


• Jungle


• etc.

As of goes, many items are discovered and then sought after; for example, as finding out a new cute frog on the floods… and then buying it.
For planning to buy later, we need to know exactly we are wanting. That’s why categorization could come in handy, since we can have an idea, find out items on the catalogue, try them on wardrobe, voila! Now its up for us to grab the item, being it on trades, event shops, etc…
It’s true all items are available on wardrobe and catalogue, but since there are so many, a good, good portion of it goes unnoticed by the player. There is simply no way we would be testing every single item on wardrobe to see if it looks cool or not. Reminder that not everyone is available on the site all day, despite their wishes!

As of item search on catalogue, another suggestion of mine would be an option to display items like this, seen on the Monkey Business:

Of course, no price or quantity is needed, the player would just click on the decor and the item description page should be the same, as it is very useful to use it to find out the item on trades or even raffles:

As of right now there is only one option of viewing as i am aware… the list description:

Sure, it shows the descriptions, but we are able to see the description on the item page. With the “grid” view of the Monkey for example, we are able to see many more items. And if further specified with the categorization suggestions, it can be even more useful this way.
We could search for “Decorations - Accessories” and find out all of them there are; If we find one we are interested, we can test on wardrobe; and click on the item description to see where to find, etc.
As said before, it can also help on finding custom decors.

Yeah, it can be said that even further categorization can be made, but i am aware this is a lot of work already as this simple suggestion, since coding and managing are not easy tasks.
I also can vision a wardrobe overhaul so we could see item thumbnails directly on the lists or something, but that’s something even more complicated.
Having more ways to find out about items will lead to more marketing over them, cycling GB and SB, trades and raffles, event currencies and so on, which i do believe is beneficial for the site. :)
