<*b>Wolf Pack: Wolves Of The Abyss:<*/b>

This is an rp based off of a custom wolf pack I made. Try to keep it as realistic as you can, but if you can't that's alright too. This is going to be a very basic rp because this is my first-ever rp on Lioden. I do, however, rp nearly everyday elsewhere and have much experience. The ranks will be listed below, feel free to pop in whenever. This will be a very basic ranking system that doesn't need much explaining. More complex stuff will be in the future, but first I have to test out how rping in Lioden really is.

I will make something much more complex with lore and everything if I decide I like RPing in Lioden. So be on the lookout! This rp is a mere short test, if you will. But it'll cure our boredoms(and writing cravings) for now :D

Also, for clarification, THERE ARE NO NAMING RULES! There really isn't any rules in general lol. Nothing too special or complicated here (as of yet ;)

<*b>Pack Rankings:<*/b>

Alpha: A Blaze In The Northern Sky (me)
Deputy: Someone specially appointed. (TBA)
Warriors: Everyone else.
Pups: Wolf pups.

Okay, so hit me up when anyone is ready for rp. I've made a starter post for anyone to join. We'll make the plots up as we go on and see where it takes us! A Blaze In The Northern Sky is also ready for a mate! So if you are interested we can see how the two work! P.S. She's gay :D

A Blaze In The Northern Sky padded out of her den and shook out her lilac fur. Her twin silver optics gleamed malignantly in midnight's cold embrace. The frost-laden moon hung high and the howling stars littered the darkened sky. The archaic trees stunk of camphor and the landscape was drenched in snow. The tall and elegant lilac canine could only hope for all possible beleaguerments to be left starving. The starlight glistened off the snow that graced the ethereal landscape with its sublime beauty.

Her lycanthropic eyes narrowed as she strained to detect any awake member of her Pack in the darkness....

Emilia whimpered softly in her den, dreaming that her and her pack was racing through the forest, right on the heels of a caribou herd. She snapped at the heels of a smaller caribou, most likely an older calf. She barked at it, snarling menacingly. She was about to make it veer off from the rest of the herd when, in her sleep, she kicked the back wall of her den and scared herself awake. Emilia yelped, jumping into an upright position. She looked around fearfully for a moment before realising she'd only been dreaming. She yawned, stretching out her back legs. Oh well.

Emilia was about to go back to sleep when she spotted her alpha, A Blaze In The Northern Sky, awake. The caramel colored she-wolf tipped her head in confusion. Why would she be up this late? Of course, wolves woke up very early, before the crack of dawn, but it was a bit too early yet for that. Emilia padded out of her den, ears pricked up. She wagged her tail in a friendly gesture toward her Alpha and gently called out, "Alpha. It's quite late, what are you doing up?"

A Blaze In The Northern Sky internally cracked a smile at the friendly greeting -- though she wouldn't let this be visible and bleed through her veiled exterior. She flicked her tufted ears in slight confusion that Emilia -- one of her most loyal and beloved members -- would ask her a question she should as herself. But, that wasn't her business, she knew. Unless it interfered with her emotionally or the Pack's well-being, it wasn't her concern nor her place to pry.

Wolves were supposed to be "mean" and "nasty"... or at least, that's how it usually went. She wasn't like that naturally.... Unless she was particularly angry, sure, but most of the time she was collective and levelheaded. Why did she keep trying to fit herself into a mold she didn't belong in? Perhaps it was societies pressure or her own unbridled ignorance... or maybe she had to act a particular way to ward off enemy Packs....

She shook her head, escaping her thoughts like fleeing a relentless storm. "I'm doing alright, I promise," She replied calmly. "And you? Hunting patrols get extreme in this kind of weather... you need your rest."

Emilia instantly cursed herself for asking the leader why she was up late. That information was private to the Alpha! What was she doing, going and asking? It maybe be important, it may not be. Either way, it was important to keep that information strictly to the Alpha. Emilia gulped, nodding. "Yes I do, Alpha. I'll go back to my den, now..." Emilia dipped her head in respect to her Alpha one more time, before hurrying back toward her den. She couldn't help but think that maybe A Blaze In The Northern Sky may just have been awoken from a dream, like her. Or maybe she'd not been able to sleep. But then again, she also may have been up thinking about battle tactics and all that. Emilia inwardly shrugged, pushing her busying thoughts into the far corners of her mind. She knew that if she kept going on like this, her mind would be reeling with thoughts and she'd never be able to sleep again.

A heart guarded and enclosed in steel walls festered a bitterness buried far below… like the deepest grave in a graveyard. The lilac wolf often turned a blind eye to this dark poltergeist lingering in the darkest recess of her lugubrious mind. The nebulous feeling wasn’t conjured easily, though in recent moons it was rapidly rearing its ugly head… often without warning or context….

But, A Blaze In The Northern Sky still liked to believe she was more merciful and kinder than other Alphas....

The tall, lilac she-wolf opened her maw to invite her on a two-wolf hunting party, when Emilia suddenly fled. After all, while they were awake, they might as well do something prosperous, yes? But, apparently not.... The fellow wolf raced back to the den in a hurried manner, much to A Blaze In The Northern Sky's disappointment. Her silver optics glazed over before quickly being veiled by an opaque covering once again.

"You didn't have to leave..."

Emilia heard A Blaze In The Northern Sky say something else, but she couldn't quite hear it as she rushed inside her den. She poked her head back out, ears flicked forward. "I'm sorry, what was that?" She woofed gently, blinking once. Her wide amber eyes seemed to be filled with many emotions- uncertainty and nervousness among them. Emilia had always been easily scared away, and she had a bad habit to over think things. Her nerves often got the best of her, though she didn't let that get in the way of leading hunting parties or chasing down prey. Although with other wolves, that was a bit different. Most times, she felt like if she did a single thing wrong, she'd be ruined. She didn't quite know why, but that feeling always somehow managed to work it's way into her thoughts.

The silver-eyed wolf sighed silently to herself as she approached the den. Whatever she was getting into... she didn't really know. Maybe this was a bad idea, but maybe it wasn't. Anyhow, she seized the opportunity. Her heart fluttered as she approached the den at the thought of comforting another wolf due other social ineptitude and unstifled nervousness. But, as usual, she swiftly ignore it. It was a mere fly bouncing around aimlessly throughout the den.

She stuck her large lilac head in the den, hoping to not tread or disturb anyone. Her silver optics shimmered in the darkness of the large den. She blinked a few times to adjust to the lighting, eventually tracking and pinpointing Emilia's location. Her lycanthropic gaze narrowed to slits.

She didn't dare step inside the den, but she whispered: "You don't have to sleep if you don't want to," She replied. "You can leave anytime you want as long as you don't bring danger to the Pack, which I doubt you'll do because you are a fantastic addition to the Pack and served everyone well. If you wanted to leave the camp and explore the territory, you can. I might come with you. I need to stretch out my legs."

Her voice beheld no inflection, instead, it was dull and porous as a stone....
