Hello there, i wanted to ask the general order in which markings pass. As far as i've heard, the kings markings roll first and THEN the lionesses, but im not 100% sure. Is this true? (excluding special markings like rosettes)

Im currently working on a project and im considering removing a marking on my king so my lionesses markings have an easier time passing on that specific slot. (I want to replace him anyways with this project, so that's why i dont particularly care about removing it) but i want to make sure that removing said marking would actually improve my chances.

According to staff, no, that's not how it's coded. There shouldn't be any priority to male over female markings - as explained in this thread (this post and then onwards). I'm not sure why that idea still persists, but coders have said it isn't the case.

I'm not sure if anyone has done a big trial to crunch the numbers on whether it really helps a lot with success in passing the other marking. But it is easier and cleaner at least, since you aren't getting distracted by the wrong one popping up in there - so unless his marking is valuable or something you do want on some cubs then yeah I would probably remove it :)

Ah, thanks for clearing that up! Would i still have an easier time getting a specific marking from a lioness if i remove the one on the same slot from my male? I know the passrates arent 50/50 since theres always a chance to get nothing at all, so im just wondering what would benefit my breeding project
