So I've had this idea for a species for a very long time and I think I should use it now! I'd really like to see if people would be interested in them!!


"BACKSTORY // INFORMATION
* Omnivores (Mainly Herbivores)
* Diet mainly consists of; Fruit, Plants, Insects, and occoasionally Bone // Bone Marrow scavanged from caracasses left by others. -- Their Canines allow them to crack and chisel away at bones for the marrow- their canines are also used in grooming of themselves, their calves, and others.

* Domestication - These creatures are easily domesticated by CHOICE, meaning they choose who they will obey. They're commonly used for Companionship, Breeding purposes, Protection, and Mounts. Their coats and patterns can be bred for, or completely random. However these creatures are highly intelligent, and will only listen if they want to.
* Behaviour - These creatures are not hostile- despite their intimidating appearance they are fairly gentle and quiet.

*Anatomy - These creatures have a large chest and a muscly horse-like build. Their "feet" have four large taloned toes in the front- one in the back, along with a small taloned dewclaw. These creatures have large throats with complicated voice boxes, allowing them to make many sounds like: Murrs, Purrs, Chirps, Growls, Yipps, etc. These creatures 'hunt' bases on texture and scent, they also have a heightened sense of hearing and are sensitive to higher frequencies- as they paralyze them. These creatures are heavy, agile, and curious- when running they thud and gallop. When walking they may seem like a big cat stalking their prey. Their retractable claws allow them to play with other species and prevent bodily harm or damage to others. They rarely retract their claws but do so when going indoors as a polite gesture. These creatures observe other species and recognize the standards of said society and adjust their behaviour as needed.

*Family - These creatures niest in groups of 5 to 6, however- they live in the trunks and limbs of large trees from their native area. They live near 1000 - 100,000 others of their species, they all do their best for each other and their young.
*Nesting - These creatures nest- meaning; they gather various materials such as moss, bark, regurgitated grass, feathers, flowers, and more to craft a soft, warm, and comfortable nest for them and their calves. You will most likely find nests under tree trunks or in secluded areas."
