Install adblock. Links can be found in original guide.
Navigate to the page containing the marking or decor or event explore encounter you don't want to see anymore.
The wardrobe is the best place to find markings and decor sources.
In chrome or maybe firefox right click on the page and then click on "inspect" or "inspect element"
Locate the marking/decor/or explore encounter's source code.
Right click.
Click on "copy link address"
scroll over to the adblock icon in your chrome or firefox hotbar.
Click the settings icon.
Navigate to "Customize"
Scroll down till you see "Manually edit your filters"
Click on "edit"
Paste all the course links for the markings/decors/ and/or explore encounters you wish not to see in the blank box.
Click on "save"
The offending markings/decor/ and/or explore encounters should now be invisible to you.

For iPhone : Install Ad-Blocker Pro
Open the app.
Follow its instructions.
tap on "+"
Insert links.
Unfortunatley you need PC to find said links to my knowledge.
However once you have the links they are hidden just the same

For android :
WIll update when I figure it out..
Sorry Phone ran out of battery before I could get it to work.
Iphone blocked the image quite easily..
However my android insisted on ignoring everything I tried..
