So, I have 1 cub so far and I'm thinking that I will get at least 2 more cubs in a few days from Ezra, given that her fertility is Good and she is going into heat tomorrow. But I'm wondering, are the bases of the cubs random or are they based on the parent's bases and genetics? Here are the bases and genetics for my king, Nali, and Ezra: GardevoirBase: Zarin (Marbled Skin) Genetics: Golden Medium Solid Common NaliBase: Deep Fawn (Red Skin) Genetics: Cream Medium Countershaded Common EzraBase: Chocolate (Dark Brown Skin) Genetics: Red Dark Solid Common And here is the base and genetics of my one cub so far(who is a descendant of Nali): CubBase: Mongoose (Pink Skin) Genetics: Cream Medium Countershaded Common It seems like the bases could either be random or related, given that I have only had one cub so far, who has a lighter colored base than her mom. So I'm wondering, are they random or are they related to both of the parent's bases?  0 players like this post! Like? |

Bases are down to the parents' genetics - the official wiki explains the details of how the genetic system on Lioden works here: link (Also just as a side note, fertility does not have any effect on the number of cubs a lioness has - that's random between 1 to 4 cubs each time, though it's more heavily weighted towards the smaller litter numbers). 0 players like this post!
