So, I noticed something and I don't know if it is the particular markings of my cubs or whether this just happens normally, but, despite my cubs having markings, I can't really see them. Gold against red should be quite easy to see, right, even at low opacity? Here are my 2 cubs that have been born so far: Nali's 1st Cub Markings: Slot 1 Golden Back Hair (31%) I can't see anything on the cub. On her mom though: Nali The same marking is at 34% and I can tell where that marking is. The darker fur on her back, that's the marking I do believe. Similar things go for the other cub I have: Ezra's 1st Cub She's got 1 marking from her father, the Gold Shroud (27%) and one from her mom, the Chocolate Freckles 3 (41%) Now, given how dark the Chocolate base is and the fact that the cub has a Redwood base, I should be seeing dark brown spots against the lighter red base, even at 41% opacity right? But I don't. And I don't see the Gold Shroud marking either. All I see is the red base. The reason I can't see the Chocolate Freckles 3 marking on her mom is because of her Chocolate base. And I can see the Gold Shroud marking on her father, despite the golden base. Is this normal? That I can see markings on the lionesses, even at low opacity levels and yet I can't see the markings on the cubs at moderate opacity levels? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Golden back hair is a mane marking. It only shows up on adol and adult males. Females can carry it, but for them it only shows up on some of the mane mutations. Cubs, not having manes yet, won't show it at all. Chocolate freckles is just hard to see on a lot of bases. 0 players like this post! Like? |

So, it doesn't have anything to do with them being cubs other than the mane markings, is that what you're saying? 0 players like this post! Like? |
