Up until not long ago, I was convinced that the chance of a dwarf mom passing her mutation would always be 25% no matter the littler size. Today I read from a user made thread that supposedly, more cubs bring you a better chance at breeding a dwarf??? Does anyone know from a reliable source where the truth is at? By reliable source I mean perhaps Lioden news article or Wiki, not other user-made threads.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Lion Scrotum gives 25% chance of passing per cub, so using buffalo scrotum also helps when breeding dwarves, Without a Lion Scrotum dwarf mutation cannot at all pass! It can only pass with a Lion Scrotum used! 0 players like this post! Like?Edited on 19/05/20 @ 08:38:01 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

AH, I see where misunderstanding comes from. There is another item with 25% success chance - Crunchy Worm. It passes the looks of the mother, not the mutation, and it rolls per litter, not per cub. I don't recall exact dwarf chance of passing, but its the Lion Scrotum that bumps chances up to a 25% pass rate. And even then its definitely best to breed alongside Buffalo Scrotum to try and better promote a dwarf being born. 0 players like this post! Like? |
