Broadly speaking almost every base can be potentially passed down to cubs, just with varying levels of rarity. Special bases (like Chaos and Duat that you mentioned) have a very low pass rate, for example. There's a table on that page with the rarities explained too :)


The exception base that cannot pass on at all is Green, from the Feast of (April) Fools app.

Otherwise the only other ones that won't pass in a normal way are the combo bases (marked with the little 'combo' text on the images in the page I linked above). Those can only pass when bred to themself or to a factor base for their specific combo, and some have additional requirements like being bred during wet season etc. There's more info on how combo bases work here
