It is best to stat-replace AFTER you achieve the full looks you want! So breed the looks first, king your final heir, then retire your - finished - king to a high stat lion, and choose to Keep old king's looks.

Otherwise its pretty expensive to replace a king with high stat heir, only to replace him again later to another king with more features you want. Cubs only inherit small part of the parents' stats, so by the time you bred your heir they'd probably had low stats, even from high-statted king. So its better to stat-replace the fully finished king already.

You could king the heir and then breed her to lionesses with the marks you like until you get a cub with the base + BO marks you want!

You breed those traits together - either by making it your king and breeding him to females with eyes/marks you want, and hoping one of the cubs gets the base/other traits you want passed, OR by keeping it a female and breeding her to studs that have the eyes/marks you want. Kings can have a lot more breedings in their lives than females so its generally better to make it your king, then breed in other things you want.

Remember though that adult sex changer has a lot of limitations, its easy to make a lioness not sex changeable anymore so its better to make up your mind before she's adult!

Oh but when I make her my heir (she's a cub right now) and I want her to have high stats, how do I stat replace her? Do I make her my heir and then replace her with a high-stat lion?
