It would be really neat if there was an alert system to let us know when a lion or item we are wanting to get is posted for sale. A few examples: 1. Let's say I am trying to keep an eye out for a mutation, marking, or base app. someone posts one for sale- then I would get a notification in my messages to let me know that one has been posted. 2. I want to get a Lion with a certain marking, personality, mane type, etc. I could be notified when a lion that meets that criteria is posted. 3. you need breeding items and need to watch for new postings- that way when they are posted you can check and see if they are in the price range you wanted. The system wouldn't guarantee that you would get the item, but would make it quicker for you to have a chance. To keep from people going crazy, lioden could limit people to a set number of notifications. And even sell more slots for GB so that they can possibly make a profit. An alternative option would be to at least have the ability to save our searches (Recent searches) so we can do re-searching quicker. thoughts? |

I was just about to make a post like this lol. A feature like this would be so helpful, especially for people doing breeding projects or things where they need to regularly get lions with certain criteria. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I feel like this would cause more stress to people. Say if 500 people for example, happen to be online and have notifications set to alert them when a Piebald (any) is put up for trade. What if a majority of those 500 people flocked to the trade to check it out? What if a user snatches up the trade before some people are even able to see it? I just feel like this would make it harder to get what you want from trades, y'know? Sometimes I want a new piebald and I go to the trade center and browse around. I usually can find a decent amount that I might want. Cause really, how many people are looking for piebalds in the trade center at the same time as me? I feel like if you notify people that HEY THERE'S A NEW PIEBALD UP FOR TRADE, then they'll mostly all flock to the trade center to see it and my chances of getting it are a hell of a lot slimmer now. I don't know, I just feel like while this might help people in one way, it would hinder the rest. Part of the fun of the trade center is kind of like shopping, you go and see what you find, not getting an alert that a new piebald you and 500 other people might want is 'in stock.' I feel like that would take the fun out of it. And ok, even if say I DIDN'T use the alert system for the trade center, other people will. And it will make it harder to find what I want if people who get alerted, go and snatch up what I might've potentially found on my own. So sorry, I can't support this. :( 0 players like this post!
