Hmm, I have roleplayed but I'm not into it atm.
But I find the last part helpful; was not sure what to do with my pride... so... muties, are they mutations? What exactly do they do, if you mind me asking?

Muties are mutations! They have a low chance of happening when you breed lions. Some have game effects and others are purely visual, you can check the wiki page to know more about them!:

(Just be careful because the mutations under the "lethal" condition might make some players uncomfortable)

Well, there are several things you could do with a normal or lethal mutation. If the mutie has a lethal mutation that could cause death you could either freeze it using a Turritopsis Jellyfish that you can buy at the Oasis, or keep it as it is and wait for it to die, or you could sell it. For a regular mutie, do what you want with it! Keep it, breed with it, sell it, show it off, whatever you want!

Um, I noticed in the customization thing for lions, not all colours are there compared to what's in the 'wardrobe'.
My friend says you can buy some (while some are bred), but ah... I notice the mane colour changer, but I can't find a body changer.
Do you have to look someplace else, or do items in oasis market change, and if you buy e.g. mane colour changer, does it allow you to change to the colours not present on the default customization thing like unholy? Can't word it right, but I noticed some awesome colours and stuff that can create a kind of galaxy feel, or something like that.

There is no base changer, but there are a shit ton of base applicators in the game that you can use! For example, Aufeis Sheet is a base applicator you can find in trade or branch sales, but you can also craft applicators in Monkey Business! I'm not sure what you mean in the last paragraph
