So while I was creating this base, I was wondering how it could be obtained. Now, of course, it could always be a simple shop item, however, my mind may have gotten a little bit carried away: Why not make it a quest? In the process of thinking this, I was trying to come up with a quest that I believed suited the base.

Thus, I created Boreas:

The image above was created while heavily referencing NPC's from the February event and I do not take credit for it because of this. I wanted it to look as close to the lioden style as I could make it, and while it's still not rendered like most of the NPCs, it's at least what I would consider a half-decent start.

Boreas is named after one of the 4 Anemoi from Greek mythology, essentially being a god of northern winds. I can hear you already. I know it's not African, however, the only wind god/goddess I could find (from google research mind you, so it likely wouldn't even be accurate) was the goddess Oya, and due to my lack of knowledge on her, I simply decided to go with what I know. And hey, Boreas has a similar name to the base!

Now, Back to the actual quest.

For the quest I was picturing an encounter similar to this:


For this encounter, Boreas would approach you asking for assistance looking for wind spirits. I was thinking that this could work similar to the lioness quest, however, it might be featured on the event page once you start it rather than the quest page and that it would be a more rare encounter. I was thinking that you would have to find 100 wind spirits (and perhaps add some scarab beetles to it?) in order to complete the quest and receive the Base and Mane.

I figured that when you complete the quest you would get a notification along the lines of;
"Boreas turns to you as you bring him the lost spirits of the winds, giving a hearty thank you for your help. In return as the spirit leaves, he leaves a gift behind him seeming to match his fur! You have received 1x Boreal Core and 1x Boreal Freeze (Temporary names for the applicators)"
