I'm new to the game. How do coat percentages work? Is a lower percentage a higher rarity or higher percentage better like on the raffle lioness? 0 players like this post! Like? |

You mean Marking Opacity? It's simply the strength with which a marking is shown, and can be changed at any moment with an item. The lower it is, the more faint the marking is - 1% is invisible, 100% is fully visible. It is just for looks. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 25/11/20 @ 04:07:57 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

It's already been said but marking opacities (the % next to the marking on the lion's slots) only make the markings more or less visible. Marking opacity does not affect the passrates. It's just aesthetic. So a marking at 1% will have the same passrate as one at 100% 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Checked and didn't see the answer there. I am referring to the percentages attached to each "slot" of the 10 each lion has. I've noticed the raffle lioness all have 100% for those, others have less or average 60%. Does this mean higher percentages are rarer/better? 0 players like this post! Like? |

You are talking about the same thing as Mad Hyena and Vethale. Raffle lionesses are special because they have markings from Tier 2 not because the opacities are 100%. Things that are rare and expensive on lioden are usually breed only (like for ex markings from Tier 2) or very hard to pass (like rosettes and hybrid mutations) AND you can't change/apply them with items. The opacities can be changed at any moment for few gb so it doesn't matter if we're talking about value of the lion ;) Like it was said already - they % are just for looks. Raffle lionesses just happen to have all opacities on 100% because their design usually looks best with it. But it's not always the case. 0 players like this post! Like? If by coat, you mean bases, you should read up on base genetics on the wiki page! 0 players like this post! Like? |
