"For the saints, legends, and royals, will pass on their knowledge until the end of time."

Darweshi, born at the dawn of time, as his four paws swept through grass to start a new legacy.

Rules;

Territory

• Territory must be earned. I have the limit of 1 territory slot per day. Earned by fighting male lions in explore. For a fight won, 1 territory slot will be earned. Once territory hits 20 in lore, 2 wins will be needed. 30, 3 wins will be needed. And so on. I start out at 2 territory.
• Broodmothers will be the normal 1 for every 10 pride lionesses in the pride. They can only be established after one full hunting party of 5 lionesses has been made.
• Reclaiming is not allowed, no matter the circumstance. This is so that lore does not get mixed up.
• For now, I will stay at one male slot. This is because it is considered a bad omen to have more than two adult males in the pride; the main male and one submale. Male adolescents and cubs will be chased on the day before they hit 2 years if no male slots are available.

Items

• Any items which influence timing, chance, or litter appearance and size is to be avoided. For ex, ibf, zebra heart, aging stone, lion scrotum, etc.
• Sex changers are prohibited for lore purposes.
• I can use applicators that I have to change lion appearances. Although it will not be mentioned in lore as applicators will ruin the natural theme of the lore.

Shopping

• I may not buy lions from the TC who are not heritageless or gen 2. I will try to avoid buying lions from TC as much as possible. I cannot participate in lion raffles. I can buy items from TC.
• I may buy items from Event shops, Monkey Business, Gorilla Enclave, Oasis, as long as they are not prohibited. Food and toys are prohibited, same as nesting material. I may only use abandoned nests from explore.
• I can grab items, currency, and cubs that are g2 from the tree. Cubs must be g2 and if not will be chased as soon as possible.
• I may buy cubs from TC for the gorilla enclave but I must immediately turn them into the enclave.

Lionesses

• Hard mode rule: All lionesses that enter the pride must be heritageless. Including NCLs, chased lionesses, groupies, and raffle lionesses. Lionesses can be further generations if bred by the pride.
• All lionesses in the pride must have at least 2 special traits to be in the pride. Anything other than that is considered a rogue and must be chased as soon as one breeding has been completed. Any rogue lionesses will not take up territory space in lore.
• I am allowed to claim as many NCLs as I want until I reach territory limit.
• I cannot chase pride lionesses or get rid of pride lionesses because I needed territory space or I didn't want them anymore. If I wanted to get rid of a lioness I would have to add it into lore with reasonings of why it happened.
• Inbreeding is absolutely NOT allowed.
• I can own lions that are non-hard mode. They're usually kept for my main when I don't have territory, where I will transfer them back when I have territory.

Litters

• Only one cub from each litter can be protected by a broodmother. That one cub is the firstborn, usually detected by ID.
• Any cubs that aren't firstborns may be kept if they reach adolescenthood.
• Four litters are rare; and so the last and first cub born must be protected and kept. Identified by ID. This is because in pride lore it is considered a blessing from Landes. Fourth cubs are called
• Mutations and special cubs that are second or third-born must be protected no matter what.

Death, Illness, Injury

• For any injuries or illnesses earned yet healed or had been treated may leave effects on the lion that was injured or sick. An open wound that healed lay leave a scar, while some illnesses will leave visible effects on the lion's appearance temporarily.
• For every hunt, each lioness will be rolled a dice to determine injury or death. If injury occurs, the lioness has a chance of catching illness. Illnesses are determined depending on the severity of the injury. Death may be caused by injury alone or illness from injury.
• Any deaths from lions age 12 and up are considered from old age. Otherwise, they will be considered deaths from other causes.
• Everyday, I will roll for every cub for injury, illness, or death. If a cub gets injury, it will be marked and will be rolled for illness. Cubs with injury will be rolled for illness and death until injury heals, determined by how severe the injury. If death occurs, I will kill off the cub. Cubs who are protected have lower chances of this happening.
• Adolescents have chance of gaining injury or death from hunts by interference. I will roll a dice for this. Same steps will happen as with normal lionesses.
• Accidents by cubs will also be rolled. This can lead to injury or illness; and even death. Certain encounters (that are rolled) will be as attracting rogue males, causing the broodmother to have to interfere and defend the cubs. Other lionesses in the pride may help if they are present. The lionesses involved have a chancs of injury and death from defending the cubs. The more lionesses there are present the less likely the lionesses will be injured or pass away.

Exploring; death, encounters corresponding with lore

• If I lose a battle, depending on opponent I will roll for injury, or death. If injury occurs, my king is subject to illness, and if illness occurs, possibly death. If death occurs, any submale present must take the killing blow to sacrifice for the king. If no submale if present then it is considered official death and a new king will soon replace the old one.
• Explore encounters and event encounters will effect the lore drastically. Plots made from explore encounters may be tied into the lore and explain certain things that happened in the lore.

Naming:

All names will be in Swahili, besides rogue lionesses.

Lionesses who enter the pride: Lionesses who enter the pride, have no heritage. If they are rogues, they will have the prefix- kusafiri and have a unique name based on traits. (There can be two lionesses who are rogues with the same names, but they must be identified with Roman Numerals. ex. II, III, IV, V, etc.) Lionesses who are entered in to be pride lionesses, will have a short and simple name, like ‘neo, maso, etc.’, and have the suffix of ‘known’. For example, ‘Neoknown, Masoknown, etc.’. Two pride lionesses may not have the same name at once. Some lionesses, like chased, posed, and mutations, will have special names.

Along with the normal naming system, lead huntresses will have the prefix of, ‘nyumbani’. For example, ‘nyumbani Neoknown’. Lead broodmothers will have the prefix of ‘mlezi’, for example, ‘mlezi Neoknown’. Healers, will have the prefix of, ‘vichaka’. For example, ‘vichaka Neoknown’. Shamans are the highest of the roles, they will have a prefix and suffix. Making their names the longest of most lionesses. Shaman’s have the prefix of, ‘alimtuma’, with the prefix of, ‘mbali’. For example, ‘alimtuma Neoknown mbali’. Long name, am I right?

Cubs, will have a combined name of their parents, if they are female, they will have the first part of their mother’s name and the second part of their father’s. The opposite way goes for males, father’s first part of name first, and mother’s second part of name second. These prefixes will be removed once they grow to an adult. Cubs that are born in the pride CANNOT have ‘known’ in their name.

First borns will have the prefix of, ‘sana’, for example, ‘sana Neoweshi’. Meanwhile, second and thirdborns will have the prefix of, ‘uchaguzi', for example, ‘uchaguzi Neoweshi’. Cubs will lose these prefixes when they grow to an adult. Mutated cubs or special cubs will have the prefix of, ‘kipekee’, for example, ‘kipekee Neoweshi’. Fourthborns, will have the prefix of, ‘baraka’, for example, ‘baraka Neoweshi’. Prefixes like,’baraka’, and ’kipekee’, are meant to be kept for life to identify them as higher status.

Males, when grown, have separate names from the rest of the pride. Subordinates, will have the prefix of ‘chini’, for example, ‘chini Darweshi’. Heirs, will have the prefix of ‘mtakatifu’ for example, ‘mtakatifu Darweshi’. The prefixes gained as heirs will be removed once they become king.

Kings, on the other hand, have unique names with no prefixes. Names often represent status, personality, or appearance. ‘Darweshi’, for example, means ‘holy one’. Correlating with the king’s status as a prophet.
