I randomly thought about this, I'm unsure if any bodies talked about this before, but I'd love to hear your feedback on this and opinions.

So, I was thinking how health conditions and such can be passed on through family, and the same even goes for pets.

I completely disagree with inbreeding taking affect on our in-game experience so I'm not suggesting this.

What I am suggesting though is that if there's a lethal mutation, or some sort of mutation like blindness, etc in the family it should increase the chances just slightly to get that mutation through a cub.

I'm not saying increase the chances by 50% but even 1-5% is enough depending on how rare the mutation is, and of course the more of that mutation is in the family the higher chances it is.

With this, it should only take affect on cubs born maybe 3 Gens down then slowly decrease as more cubs are born without this defect.

The chances could be kept below 40% ish percent so it doesn't get out of control and all you have are blind lions in the entire family.

What are your guys opinions?

good idea! would it work like if a lions aunt had the eyeless mutation they would have a higher chance? or only direct family like grandparents
