Hello all! I had a quick question, i just had a moderator remove a link to a digital portfolio of mine due to the presence of "humanoid characters that have visible female nipples". I should have stated directly that there was a presence of human anatomy, not including genitalia. I was unsure as to why it was specified as female nipples. As stated in the Art Forum Rules, "This means no uncensored nudity, no pornography, no adult situations, etc. Do not link to any sites that contain images such as this that are publicly viewable." Does that mean that male art with visible nipples isn't considered nudity, but female nipples are? Or on cases of nonbinary/trans characters or artwork, what are the guidelines for such? I dont mean to be rude in the slightest, just genuinely curious. Before i repost my link (without the tatas ofc), i wanted to check in with staff and/or the general public. The art posted did not have any sort of genitalia or other secondary sex features other than exposed breasts, which is typically accepted for art that is perceived as "male" or "masculine-presenting".

Hence my question of what is and is not allowed for full or partial nudity, and whether it changes based on perceived gender. Understandably, the site is for a 16+ audience, therefore some limitations on what can and cannot be posted makes sense. The rules on the Code of Conduct state on 1.9e that "If a portfolio has no mature content filter (and there may be mature content), it may not be posted in chat but may be posted on the forums with appropriate disclaimers". I wanted to make sure that if i post my portfolio again with proper warning, that it will be allowed.

On the Terms of Service 6.2b, the guide states that users may not "publish or send any Content (including links or references to other content), or otherwise behave in a manner, which is...vulgar, obscene, pornographic,(or) sexually suggestive". In theory, the presence of full and/or partial nudity applies to all of the following. However, in my personal experience so far, this rule is enforced partially, with bias involving the female anatomy. Therefore, does that mean that partially nude men are okay, but partially nude women are not? I would love some further clarification, that way I can post portfolios appropriately and ensure that i am not violating the rules and regulations. If you have any opinions or thoughts, feel free to comment below as well! Tysm! (Staff as well as community answers are much appreciated!)
