On your den page, next to you king’s icon there should be a little tab that says territory. You can pay to expand (by clicking the little +) or you can battle other players for territory. This can be done until your territory reaches 40. After that, it costs 2 per extra slot

To battle for territory, go to another player’s den and scroll down until you see a box that says “attack this lion.” You can battle them for territory, skill, and experience.
