I think a lot can relate to the situation where you see a message in the new giveaway channel and find themselves pm’ing the people wether the item/lion from the giveaway is still available and while some are okay with keeping on doing that, I feel like there are quite a lot whom after posting their giveaway aren’t too happy to see their pm’s perhaps being flooded with messages like that. Since the ping feature won’t be used there anymore there is pretty much no alternative right now.

Now I’m not sure wether people have thought of this/suggested this before, but when I did search nothing came up so I’m assuming it’s not yet been suggested in the forum, but the idea was that maybe people could receive the right to edit their message, but since that could take a lot of coding, maybe it would just be easier if there was a way to let people not being able to edit the actual giveaway message, but more of a small symbol on the side or a color to that message that when it’s been unclaimed, it’s in the form of a green check mark or the message is green or a neutral color and when it’s been claimed, that there would also be a small symbol on the side of it or again with the color of the message. If this wouldn’t work, maybe some inspiration could be taken from this suggestion, thanks for reading:)
