An immortal lion is often referred to as a 'frozen' lion. As they are frozen in time. This means you cannot interact with the lion in any way but decor. (So no breeding, feeding playing etc.)

You can freeze a lion by using an item depending on the stage of life:
Cub: Jellyfish
Adolescent or Adult: Turritopsis Jellyfish
Dead: Canopic Jellyfish

Of course, you can also buy a lion that is already frozen.

Most frozen lions are special in either mutation or looks as it is expensive to freeze a lion. Both the item and the slots cost several gb.
