Buy/ find some beetle either in the TC or explore.
Larva will need feeding they age up at 10 days old.
Train them at the beetle grounds, both male and female can be trained there and have a chance of gaining a skill point.
Males can be battled every 15 minutes. Win battles to earn exp to level them up and gain more skill points.

If there are particular species you favour you can focus on breeding and battling those. Or you have have a mix of various species if battling is just your thing.

You will need to build a beetle mound to house them.

There are also a couple of battle beetle clans you can join "battle beetles club" have our own discord where we can chat or trade beets, lions etc very helpful bunch.
