my first immediate thought would be no, ofc not, but in a trade i got a lioness under the name of “crimsonE 13M VLF RhodM [RAFF]” (she’s now named candlelight in my pride) and two other lions (even if she’s not a raffle- ig the trade was worth it bc of the other lions so that’s not an issue) i’m just genuinely curious to know if people fake raffle lionesses for trades and how to tell? or if i misunderstood all the abbreviations and stuff?
edit- forgot to mention- it shows her heritage which is why i was confused in the first place bc i assumed raffles didn’t have a heritage as they’re made by staff

The Special Raffle Lioness doesn't have a heritage.
But it's possible that the lioness you got was from a player raffle, I suppose.

You can always check the Raffle Lioness Directory Wiki if you're after a Raffle Lioness but are unsure if one actually is. :)

yes, raffle lionesses have no heritage.
perhaps the lion was raffled off? (in a player made raffle, not one of the weekly special raffle lionesses) and that is why it was named that. she doesnt have any raffle lioness markings or any lionesses in her heritage, so that is the most likely answer.

Raffle Lionesses do not have heritage. A lot of the time when lions are marked as such, it's because they possess markings from a raffle lioness, as they're descended from her or a king who also had the marks. For example, a lion named "Raffle Marks 013120 8/10" would roughly translate to "This lion possesses 8/10 of the markings from the January 31st, 2020 Raffle lioness." Another alternative is that it was not marked as a site-wide raffle lioness, but rather a personal, much smaller raffle from one player :)

It all depends on the personal naming scheme of the player who owns the lion; but more often than not, if you see a lion marked as raffle, it won't be an original raffle lioness. Original girls can sell for upwards of 1,000 depending on the markings, and clones can sell for upwards of 300-500 depending on the rarity.

Hope this helps!
