when and what is a rollover ?

A: a rollover is basically the start of the new day on lioden on rollover lions age up a month etc. rollover is at 2:05 am lioden time (you can find the lioden time in a little box at the side of your page
(on PC) and on mobile its in the bottom of the page.

How do I expand terretory ?

A: Terretory can be expanded by paying SB or fighting against other players.
The terretory can be found in ypur den next to your lions picture click on the little plus to expand it.
Fighting player is only possible until you reach 40 terretory after that you will have to pay GB.
To fight you will have to look for a lion that is around your strength (cant be more than two levels beneath yours). Scroll down the lions den page and you should find an attacking option where you can attack for terretory, experience or skill.

Lion roles ?
A: You can set roles for your lionesses to be hunters or broodmothers. Hunters you can have an unlimited amount in your pride (only affected by the amount of lionesses you can have in your pride ofcourse). Its diffrent for broodmothers though. For every ten terretory slots you can own one broodmother (40 terretory = 4 broodmothers).
Broodmothers can protect up to 5 cubs at once. Remember to set roles to your lionesses otherwise they wont appear as hunters or broodmothers.

what is studding and how do I access it ?

A: Studding is a breeding service a king can provide. You will have to go to the kings page and scroll down until you see the studding menu (note: some players dont have it activated then you wont find it). You can send a request to that lion if he has studding slots left (every lion has 15 studding slots per week) your lioness will also have to have the fertility the male requires some have 5 % some more some less it really depends.
You can send any breeding items with your lioness that the stud allows (some do not allow ochre gnawrocks).

what is reverse studding or breeding and how do I access it ?

A: Reverse studding or breeding works the same way as studding does exept for that the request is send to the lioness not to the lion. In this case the lioness is breed by the male lion (the player with the lioness breeds her by clicking accept). The player of the male pays the price for the studding . The lioness will be pregnant and the male has to provide nesting material, a toy bundle and a food bundle (all can be found and crafted in the monkey buissnes).
The cubs belong to the owner of the male and will be automatically transfered five days after the birth when they are weaned or eight days after the breeding (unless aging items are used).

Can I breed my lioness with my sub male ?

A: No. Only main males can breed.



How long can my lions breed ?

A: Lionesses can breed until they are 14 years old after that the breeding cooldown will continue but you wont be able to breed her anymore. If a lioness is pregnant and turns 14 she will have the cubs normally. Males can breed as long as they are king (note: males use energy when they breed so a full energy bar is enough for 20 tries)

What does fertility do?

A: Fertility can influence the chance of your lioness getting pregnant there are diffrent percantages and the lower the percentage is the more tries it takes to get the lioness pregnant. Lionesses with godess fertility will fall pregnant after one try.
The lower the fertility the bigger is the mutie buff (very low fert having the highest chance of randomly producing a mutie).
Remember: even if your lioness is marked as infertile you still can equip fert highering items.

Can I improve my lionesses fertilty?

A: Yes. There are breeding items that boost your lionesses fertility. A chasterberry can be bought from the snakes on crossroads for 100 SB they will raise your lionesses fertility by 10 % (this also works on infertile lionesses).
note: There are many more fertility booster or changer this is just the cheapest example.

how do I get better looking lionesses in my pride ?

A: In the beginning its very hard to get chased lionesses in explore and to succesfully claim them so to get a non basic looking lionesses you will have to buy one in the trading center.

how do I get better looking cubs in my pride ?

A: Once again to get some more better looking cubs you can go to the trading center and see what people are selling. The giving tree is also an oportunity to get cubs sometimes you can even get muties from the giving tree depends on what cubs people are abandoning (remember you cant choose the cub you get from the giving tree it is pure coincidence)

.how do I get males in my pride ?

A: You cant find males in explore so the only oportunity to get adult males in your pride is once again the trading center. Cubs and adols are also findable on the giving tree.
In the may event you can also get male groupies which are once again not choosable but also have a chance of having a mutaition or special looks.
May groupies are also the only males (besides rolled kings) that have no heritage.
Remember: To be able to have an adult male in your pride besides your king you will have to unlock male slots. Otherwise they will run off if no (or not enough) male slots are provided. No worries though. You have 7 days to reclaim them for 200 SB.

How do I protect my cubs ?

A: To protect a cub until it becomes an adolescent you will have to asign the cub to a broodmother.
The broodmother role can be set where you can set the lioness as huntress go there and change or asign her this role. A ne menu should open up where you can asign cubs to her. This will fully ensure their survival. A lioness can only be broodmother OR hunter so you will have to decide a lioness can only protect five cubs if she has a nurturing personality she can protect six.

When can I retire my king ?

A: As soon as your main lions reaches an age of 15 years you can retire him.
In your cooldowns you can see how long it will take for your male to reach the age of retirement in weeks.
This all only counts if you do not retire your king early you can always retire him early for a cost of 15 GB and if you do not wait 30 days after you retire him and king a new one you will have to pay 10 GB extra so 25 GB in total.

How old does my male have to be so I can king him?

A: Age in this case doesnt matter. A soon as you king a male lion it will either age up to three years if it is younger than that.If the lion is older than ten he will be aged down to eight years.

Can a lioness be the leader (how come some players have females as kings/queens ?

A: No. Kinging a lioness is not possible you will have to change the gender of her to king her (Note: non mutated lions are sex-changable until they hit three years of age. Adult lions that have patrolled, hunted or had cubs can never be sex changed. Mutated lions can be sex changed util they are two years old gender specific mutaitions (mostly AMPs) will be wiped).

Now to how some players have lionesses as kings/queens. There is an item called the lab test frog this Item allows you to change the appearance of your e.g male lion to a female appearance. The lions gender does not change only the looks do, means these males are still able to be king and lab test froged females can still get pregnant. This way you can also apply poses or female only decors to the lion.

Mutaitions
How do I get mutated lions ?

A: You can always buy muties in the trading center or enter a raffle to win one.
It also gives you a chance to get a mutie if you stud to a mutated king (note: mutaiotions like tigons or leopons are not inheritable via the father).
You may also be lucky and get a random mutie from breeding.
Ofcourse there are breeding items that increase the chances of getting a mutie GMO cows, lions meat or the cheapest option being the CRB etc. Remember none of these guarantee a mutie but the GMO Cow is the most probable to give you a mutie. Its also the most expensive.

How do I get a hybrid (Tigon or Leopon)?

A: the hybrids are probably the most wanted mutaions on Lioden and to get your hands on one can be quite tricky.
Saving up and later buying a hybrid is probably the best chance of getting a hybrid.
Usual young hybrids go for 250-300 GB (prices vary heavily throughout the year). First gens are extremly hard to breed and are very rare they are also quite expensive (often around 1000 GB depending on age) .

What does first generaition mean (hybrids) ?

A: A first gen hybrid is as I already mentioned hard to breed and very expensive. A first gen hybrid has a higher chance of passing the mutaiton (10 %).
First gens are recognizabel on their looks (even tho they also can be crunchy wormed). Tigons of the first generaition also all have the same father :Ashkarn.

Since I have (at this point) never succeded in breeding a first gen hybrid I will link some breeding guides here :

Can I king a Hybrid ?
A: Yes it is possible to king hybrids as long as they are males. It has to be said tho that male hybrids can not pass their mutaition and they can only breed with lionesses who have godess fertility.

what are events ?

A: Events are held every moth and every month has a diffrent event they also last the entire month.
Events have events shops with event currency that are updated every year (every event has different shops and currency). Every event also has diffrent explore encounters always based around the topic of the event (e.g poaching in march or Championships in may).
Some events also contain a storyline with event only rewards at the finish.

What happens to my event currency when the event ends ?

A: event currency stays on your account and you can use it the following year. Events will upate but will rarely be completly replaced by a new event (only happened twice in my time on lioden) and if that happens the players will have the chance to convert their old currency in new one (like its happening with the retired july event).

How can I delete studding requests I send ?

A: You can delete studding requests by scrolling down your den page. It should be below the list of the clan that you are in. Click on "view breeding requests" and choose the outgoing requests and delete it there. You can also access it by scrolling down your kings page and click on the same menu on your own studding options.
