Using Pennyroyal doesn't help with passing the mutation. It rises the chances of getting Felis/Smilus rolled if the primal mutation for already rolled that cub. And in case of Ferus - additional condition is that the both parents have to be Feruses.

Hey! You can get simple mutations like primal/patches/piepald just by breeding your lions with a stud with those mutations, but the chance is pretty small.
You can also increase the mutation chance with some items as:
Lion Meat (market place/event/gorilla enclave)
GMO Cow (market place /event)
Cotton Root Bark (Bought at Oasis, 1 )
Low fertility (You can lower this with Tackweed --> bought at Quests & Snakes, 60 per )

I was talking specifically about Pennyroyal. For it to work on with Ferus mutation - both parents have to have it. Of course with "natural passing" - only one of the parents needs to have the mutation ofc. (Unlike with other primals where any variant can produce each of the three: normal variant, felis, smilus & only males can pass it)

It's not true. This requirement is for breeding Ferus from Mukombero only.

It is unfortunately all up to chance, butt using Pennyroyal with the breedings can help increase the chance of a mutation being passed down as well.

Also, my kings a primal if you needed some new blood to help your chances as well.

Also with primal, smilus and Felis only the male can pass the mutation. Felis and Primal females can't, even with pennyroyal. Smilus is a male only primal variant, so he can only pass it to male cubs.

Be prepared for fails, you will get primal fangs when you were hoping for another variant.
