I've been playing in the celestial explore for about 30-1 hour on and off, I've only won about 3-4 encounters with monsters. What am I doing wrong?
My attacks keep missing for some reason, I'm just really confused. What moves matter the most when it comes to combat? I've only been playing for 5 days now so I'm not good at fighting to begin with.

Hi there! So the reason you keep missing could be a multitude of different things. First off, these Celestial enemies are MUCH harder than regular ones. Even if you have perfect hits these things give you a real run for your money and are nothing like the relatively easy enemies that appear in Explore. Experienced users are having troubles as well because these enemies can stunlock you forever or deal mass amounts of damage to finish you off too quickly and from what I know staff are trying to alter this so these battles are more bearable, so it's not much of a surprise that the win rate is low.

I see your account is somewhat new- so naturally you lion probably won't have many levels or stats (it'll build up over time as you reach dreamboat and start getting things like the replacement stat bonuses). While this doesn't provide too big of a difference, there is a small buff and a first-move advantage you get from having more stats (in this case I believe STR). Again this is so minor it probably isn't the main cause but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

You probably have a bad case of the RNG! Sadly there isn't much you can do to fix that as it's random, so I guess you'll just have to wish for better luck on that :(. HOWEVER you can partially 'tailor' your fighting moves so that the ones you hit can deal good damage! There are good guides on this forum that tell you what attacks are optimal and what to avoid. This should help you greatly so you can deal as much damage as you can before the enemy hits back.

Also small tip- if RNG really screws you over, just try to explore the event zone when you're down to 0 energy. That way even if you lose you don't have to deal with the 5% energy penalty. You can also try only engaging 'claw' enemies or cowardly enemies who go down relatively easily compared to other ones.

If you are excessively missing (many consecutive battles without a single hit put in) it MIGHT be a bug? not sure but if it becomes increasingly weird and sniffs of something other than bad luck you might want to make a bug report.

I'm not too much of an expert but hope this helps!
