I know many people who have asthma and are very athletic, participating in sports like netball, soccer and other stamina intensive games. Yes, they have puffers, but if lioden has crystals that can age up lions, I'm pretty sure they'd also have medication to avoid colds and other aspects

Finally, there is also a lethal that affects all ages and that is deafness. Unlike asthma, deafness is something that directly inhibits cats. While yes, they could learn how to hunt, like in point four, pretty sure that most lion prides wouldn't care for a cub that is obviously weak but this is lioden so they actually have the care needed for a good-ish life
