My idea is that your lion can have asthma. It would cause there to be a MASSIVE speed penalty and would have a random chance to die upon rollover, they would be able to do cub training, hunting and patrolling. Males with this mutation would be able to be kinged and do everything else, but he would have absolutely TERRIBLE speed stats. Females with asthma, like males, would be able to do normal tasks, including breeding! There would (obviously) be no visual difference, but there would be a lingering threat of death on rollover UNTIL your lion is 5 years old!! I might go back and edit this, but it would be cool to have not just cub lethals, adolescent lethals and adult lethals, but a lethal that can affect ALL ages!

Any thoughts? Improvements? Criticism? Ideas? I would love for people to share with me!

No support for this. Firstly feline asthma has only been recording in domestic cats and has an INSANELY low chance of happening- affecting 1 to 5% of cats.

Secondly, unlike other genetic mutations, asthma is normally caused by outside factors: and in cats its normally due to allergens a cat has inhaled.

Thirdly: Lioden wont add illnesses to the game, meaning that having this 'mutation' wouldn't do anything, it would be a horrifically over exaggeration of an illness that most often is either triggered or can be treatable. If you were to say severe asthma that still isn't a mutation, as it's just a severe form of asthma

Fourthly, by labelling asthma as something that heavily decreases speed is (for a lack of a better word) bullshit. I know many people who have asthma and are very athletic, participating in sports like netball, soccer and other stamina intensive games. Yes, they have puffers, but if lioden has crystals that can age up lions, I'm pretty sure they'd also have medication to avoid colds and other aspects

Finally, there is also a lethal that affects all ages and that is deafness. Unlike asthma, deafness is something that directly inhibits cats. While yes, they could learn how to hunt, like in point four, pretty sure that most lion prides wouldn't care for a cub that is obviously weak but this is lioden so they actually have the care needed for a good-ish life
