Hello! I'm not exactly new, but I came back after a long break so I'm pretty much at square one again.. I've figured most things out again, except for beetles. Is beetle training/stats in general all RNG? All my current beetles I've collected while exploring (except for like one which I bred), and I've been trying to train them in stats they don't have a lot of, but they haven't succeeded a single time. Am I doing it wrong?

Also an unrelated question, but what is the point of having beetles? Is it just for collection purposes?
