Sent from the king of your pride, you were ordered to explore further from the borders of your territory. Stalking stealthily through the lands, you come across the land with small canyons full of lava. Carefully, you travel further into the land. When you're not paying full attention to where you are going, you run straight into a red and black lioness…



"Hey, watch where you’re going!" she growls, looking at you. In fear, you had crouched down to the ground below her. She wrinkled up her nose and spoke again. "Who even are you?"

“I’m- uh…” you tried to speak but nothing would come out.

"Well?" she continued to stare into your eyes with expectancy in hers.

“Who are you?” you retorted, sitting up. You were taller and more powerful than her. You could’ve sworn you saw a tinge of fear flash in her eyes for a split second.

The lioness glared at you. “I’m Brimstone. Now it’s your turn.”

“My name is Ember,” you respond confidently.

“Ember, huh? Doesn’t ring a bell. You don’t belong here.” Brimstone snarled.

“My king ordered me to explore beyond the boundaries of our territory.”

“Well your precious king doesn’t rule our territory, does he? You have no right to be here.” she retorted.

You wanted to argue back but couldn’t find anything to say. Why did she have to be so clever?

“Are you not going to say anything back? Have I won this argument?”

“You haven’t won anything,” you growled, baring your teeth.

“Just you wait.” Brimstone threatened.

“Are you sure this is a fight you want to have?” you warned her.

“Oh, I’m sure,” Brimstone growled, lunging at you with open jaws and unsheathed claws.

You ducked down and ran below her, dodging her attack and leaving her to fall head first to the ground. While she was disabled, you took your chance and leaped on top of her, digging your teeth into her shoulder and clawing her hip with your hind legs. She wailed in pain, trying to push you off but was unable to do so. After you felt that you’d done enough damage, you jumped off her, and she struggled to her feet.

Now furious and bleeding heavily, Brimstone looked at you, shaking violently



“Y-you’re crazy! You’re fucking crazy!” she cried out.

“Don’t hate the player, hate the game, sweetheart. After all, you said you were sure that you wanted to have this fight,” you said with a smirk, before turning around and continuing through her territory, leaving her to slowly bleed out and limp back to her pride’s den.
